I called Discount Electrical Service after already contacting 5 other electrical services. I am in the process of purchasing a HUD home and Ron called me back with in an hour and was so informative about what I needed to have done. His knowledge was very refreshing and comforting. He had one of his workers over at the home right away and they were able to get everything done to get the home up to code with in a day. They told me how much it would be right from the start and to my very pleased surprise he was able to do it for less. How many places would be that honest and help you out like that. The job was done really well and very professional. They send you a text message to let you know when they get to the home and when they are leaving and if they are done. I will definitely use them again for any of my electrical problems or needs.

I had discount electrice do some work for me 8/5/2016. I over paid them by $100. When I said something to my husband hesaid " its was $475. I emaild and called Ron Belford that day. He said he would refund my money and put a check in the mail. Since I had not received the check he was going to drop it by , he has told me 3 times he would take care of returning my $100. Today is 9/26/2016 I have called and emailed several times still no $100. Ron they $100. that you are keeping from me pays my bill, pays for my gas and food. You are not an honest business person. Consumers be careful if you use this company. I didnt really want to even give you 1 star because you cheated me.

Quick, professional electrical service in Murfreesboro Tennessee. I needed to run two 240volt lines to my garage for use with power woodworking equipment. After waiting over two weeks and two missed appointments with another company, I called Ron at Discount Electrical Service. His employee, also Ron, showed up on time the next morning, was very pleasant, gave me a clear estimate, and finished the job quickly. The owner came out and assisted, and everything was done perfectly and cleaned up by mid-day. Cost was a bit under what I expected for the job, based on the length of wire run. I couldnt be more satisfied with their work. Thanks, again guys.

Wow! They said theyd be here at 9 and they were. They sent me a text message when they were a few minutes from my front door. And then they told me that the "defective switch" that I called them for wasnt the problem and the problem was in the main circuit breaker box where the incoming wires and the ground wire were loosely fastened and were buzzing and HOT! They tightened the wires and then the "defective switch" worked perfectly and best of all -- THEY MAY HAVE PREVENTED THE CIRCUIT BOX FROM BURNING MY HOUSE DOWN! Can you guess who Ill be calling for my electric service from now on?!!

Absolutely terrible communication, service, and all around approach to business. Will not recommend or wish my experience upon any consumer. Ron required payment before he could schedule to replace my meter base - a fairly simple project. I paid him and he cashed my check immediately. 6 weeks later and after dozens of attempts to call, schedule, and have the work that I already paid for done, I have called it quits. My attorney is now taking this matter up.

They actually arrived early for the estimate, gave a very reasonable price, and did the job that same day! I was impressed with their knowledge and efficiency. I called Ron, and he was at my house in a matter of 30 minutes. I had some wiring issues in my kitchen, but not anymore thanks to these guys. They actually rewired my outlets and used the parts I bought from homedepot without any additional charge. I highly recommend Discount Electrical to anyone looking for an honest and reliable electrician. Thanks again Ron!!!

This company is a thief!! Dont waste your time!!! I paid him several months ago in advance to pull a permit and bring a vacant property up to codes and he still hasnt done the work yet. Now the owner and the employees wont return my calls even though I paid him 50% up front! Use someone else!!!
