PLEASE READ!! BEWARE OF SCAM ARTISTS!! Frog A/C is supposed to mean Fully Relying On God yet their business outlook is far from "Godly." I am very disappointed to have to post a negative review, but I believe people need to be informed of this So-Called HVAC company. I recently had need for A/C service when my unit suddenly stopped producing cold air. Everything sounded great and to the point when dealing with Sandy who did a lovely job explaining what I should expect out of my service visit and scheduling a convenient 2 hour window, but that is about the extent of my good experience. A "Technician" named Chad arrived within the promised time frame, but remained in his truck while on his phone for a good 15 minutes before even considering approaching my door to begin "prompt" diagnosis of my problem. Keep in mind Ive been without air for at least a day now. From the start he portrayed a nature of trying to "sell" me something and kept trying to focus on the fact that my unit was "OLD" and approaching its life expectancy. My unit is only 7 years old and I know it may no longer be a spring chicken, but I figured they were supposed to last longer than 7 years!! He proceeds with his diagnosis and lets me know that my compressor is not coming on due to a bad Capacitor and that it must be replaced before further diagnosis can be made, but from the looks of it my motor and compressor were failing as well. He asks if I would be interested in replacing the system without even giving me my options of repairing my problem. I had to request a price on repair and this seemed to agitate him!! Once my options were given to me I decide to replace the failed part and think about what route I should take when it came to replacing versus repair. I watched as he made the repair and the unit came on after the part was replaced. I went back inside while he told me he was going to write an invoice and further test the system. My invoice reflected my minimum repair as well as Recommended replacement of compressor and fan motor, but Chad was very stern to remind me that it was his opinion that the system would fail again very soon. I told him I would take my chances while weighing my options. Not to my surprise; 15 minutes after Chad left; I still notice my system still isnt working.I proceed to schedule a second opinion from Lee Company and they are very efficient and prompt to show up. The technician was efficient, concise, non-pushy and didnt even ask to see Frogs invoice. He proceeds with his diagnosis and asks me if my capacitor was recently changed to which I informed him it was replaced the same day. He shows me a "neatly tucked" wire disconnected from my capacitor that helps bring my motor on...the wire was actually wrapped and tucked inside another bundle of wires!! After hooking the wire up the system instantly came on and without question the Lee Co technician began to complete looking at the unit. He tells me everything is checking within range and only charges me a diagnostic fee for coming out. My system is still running strong 3 weeks later!! I find it odd that a wire was "disconnected" to a part which happened to control the other components that were recommended for replacement!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! After reading other negative reviews on this company; it is apparent to me that this company is only out to sale systems and treat homeowners dishonestly. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THAT "FULLY RELIES ON GOD!!"

I called FROG HVAC on 9/17 because I thought there might be something wrong with one of my air conditioners. The technician came out on 9/19 and checked things out. He then went into great detail explaining that the heat exchanger was bad on the newer unit (8yrs old). He was so freaked out by this that he had turned off the gas to the unit because he was afraid we would get carbon monoxide poisoning, and as a volunteer firefighter he would feel terrible if something happened to us. He also said that both units were extremely low on freon which indicated a leak---he just didnt know from which two coils, so he would have to order both, and (hopefully!) it would just be one. The other unit (18yrs) old was also in bad shape, lack of freon also indicated a leak in one of the coils and it would probably go out any minute due to the age and amount of rust. I was pretty freaked out myself at this point and asked if it would be better to just get two new units, rather than try to fix what was wrong with one and buy a new unit as well. He said, Of course! you can get a better deal! Long story short---He sends another guy that day who goes into great, supposedly knowledgeable detail about the units and replacing them. He is to send me a quote with our options, which he does in a very timely fashion. In the meantime, I call several other HVAC companies in my area to come give me quotes on replacing the units. I wanted to check/ and compare the prices of different brands. I did not inquire about fixing them. FROG seemed to be so honest. They had all these great reviews! Three of them come out on 9/20. I did not tell them what FROG has said about the units. I just asked for a quote on replacing them. ALL THREE asked me why I am replacing the units, because THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM. ALL THREE check the freon levels---COMPLETELY ACCEPTABLE LEVELS. ALL THREE check the heat exchanger---one even had a technician come over from another job to put a camera underneath to make sure---THE HEAT EXCHANGER WAS COMPLETELY FINE ON BOTH UNITS. ALL THREE STATED that even if the heat exchanger had been bad, it was still under warranty---something not mentioned by either FROG employee. The only conclusion was that all three felt like both units could use a more thorough cleaning. To be fair-- I did request and receive the $60.00 from FROG that I spent initially getting them to look at the units. HOWEVER, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THE OTHER COMPANIES CHARGED ME A DIME TO INSPECT MY UNITS AND GIVE THEIR OPINION.

Worst HVAC company out there ... Lets start with tweedle Dee the owner he wouldnt know what HVAC was if it jumped out and introduced himself. a company that started as an electrical company (mister sparky) decided they wanted to play HVAC despite the fancy looking trucks it is all an illusion to rob money from the people of Nashville which in turn brings tweedle dumb to the table (Brad Hone) the "operations manager" dosent know what a screwdriver is let alone how to mount a thermostat he has no field experience and when trying to explain a issue to him loves to use the term "Your speaking Greek to me" this is another guy who only sees dollar signs he hires crook service techs who come out and try and doom your unit if they cant they will break something so they can sell you a 5000 dollar + change out so they can make there 5% on that sale and quickly move to the next poor suckers house this is when your installer comes in who keep in mind go in blind to every job to find wrong equipment and missing parts that no one from the company seems to care about only the fact that you "make it work" or "just get it done" which 9 times out of 10 makes the installer hack it in and hurry up to the next one because there are only 2 install crews and 6-7 change outs a day making it seem that if your not a service tech and or management you and your family doesnt matter seeing as the installers are working from 7am to 9:30 or 10:00 on an average day and other days they wont be done till 11-12:00 if your thinking well if its that bad why dont they just leave? They have and they just shuffle the next poor sap in. A company who swears upon being a family company really couldnt care about yours or mine just theres and the money the make off you.
