*** UPDATE BELOW*** I spent all I had and was assured my transmission was fixed. Well after returning twice in less than 3 weeks after the initial service my car had to be towed home because the transmission went out. I will be contacting them as soon as they open on Monday because they sold me a bad transmission. If they get it right Ill gladly update with a new review but til then all I can say is Im not happy and I dont have the time or money to waste on a issue like this. They were recommended to me and I trusted the owner Sean when he said he would do right by me. So far not so good. Monday will be my 2nd time having to get my vehicle towed there and 3rd time returning cause of transmission leakage and slipping. ***UPDATED REVIEW*** Well after returning my van after I kept having leakage and slipping, Sean made sure they found out what was wrong with the transmission and found out that the transmission wasnt bad after all it was leaking from somewhere else. Albeit was very frustrating and inconvenient Sean did do his best to find out what was going on. He actually brought me back to my car personally. Bottom line the customer service was good and the price was reasonable for a replacement transmission. And may consider using them in the future.

A few weeks ago my Chevy Avalanche transmission went out completely. I did research and identified this business as a good one and contacted the owner. He was very knowledgeable with my particular model, which was good news for me. Long story short: This shop did a great job rebuilding the transmission, was done when they said they would be and the original cost quote was very reasonable and remained the same when I picked up my truck. After two weeks and one thousand miles everything is fine, no leaks, no issues. This shop also provides good warranty support. I would recommend this shop to others, as there are so many unreliable shops in the area. I will certainly update this review if anything changes my mind about this shop, but I do not expect that to happen.

This shop is a hidden gem in Clarksville. I had a major mechanical issue with my truck, and took it to two other shops before landing here. Both of the other shops were rude, overcharged, and couldnt identify the actual problem. Absolute found the problem immediately, fixed it at a reasonable price, and even fixed another small issue without charging me for any additional work. The mechanic who performed the work came out and spoke to me when I picked up the vehicle, and the overall experience was one of the best Ive had at an automotive repair shop. Highly recommended.

Hands down the only place I go for vehicle repairs in Clarksville, Tn. Their very knowledgeable, courteous, and straight forward without the BS. In the past I’ve had a control arm replaced, and exhaust manifold leak repaired with great turn around time. I recently cranked my radiator. Called the day same day got a price quote. Dropped my vehicle off in the morning and by that afternoon my vehicle was repaired. Great Service!

I am very pleased because these guys gave me next day service. They got the parts overnighted. The parts and labor were below their competitors. The icing on the cake was when they volunteered to pick up the car from my office and dropped it back off since I work so close to the shop. That was such a blessing as I have a crazy schedule. The owner is very genuine and the mechanic I spoke was friendly and knowledgeable.

We lucked on to Absolute Auto over 10 years ago when one of our teens blew out the engine on our van. Sean has never let us down and has always done excellent work at a fair price. I have absolute trust in him when it comes to my cars. The van is still running at 200k+ miles. It is nice not to have to second guess your mechanic.
