Upon visiting the daycare, I was very impressed with the owner and the developmental activities and monthly teachings. The daycare is very clean and the owner is always there. She is a delightful person as are some of her teachers that I have come into contact with. On the other hand, I wish that my daughter would have had such a great experience at this development center as the kids of the person that recommended me to this place. My one year old daughter was there for a little over one month, when she came home with a 6 inch bruise along her spine! When I questioned the teachers from the 1s room about it, I was told that they dont know if she fell because they didnt see her, and she didnt cry. When I told Ms. Sheila about it, she questioned the older teacher from the 1s class, and the teacher changed her story, to add that my daughter might have pushed up against a bookcase, and made a "silent cry". But yet, she didnt have the common decency to check my baby. I asked Ms. Sheila if I could review the video for the past 2 days, only to find out that the video for the ones class had mysteriously gone down and was not working for over 2 weeks, but all the other cameras were operational. Thats very fishy! Nothing was sent home with her, no accident report, no phone call. My baby had a very ugly bruise on her back, that could have proven serious by her doctor. Besides the fact that my baby was terrified of the older teacher, and would scream and be overall anxious when we saw her at a restaurant during that week. I would say that the teacher must have yelled at my baby or pushed her or something. For them not to know what happened to my baby is pure neglect on their part. My baby is never going to another daycare, because I have lost all trust in anyone that is not my family. I was given the recommendation of this daycare by my daughters pediatrician because her kids go there. I will never again take someones recommendation when it comes to the welfare of my child.

I could not imagine using any other daycare for my daughter. She has been going there since she was about 8 weeks old, and now is 4 years old. Im sad to know that shell stop going once she enters kindergarten. I have no complaints whatsoever. There was a brief time when she was in class with a biter that seemed to prefer to bite her, for some reason. The staff and owner took care of the issue as soon as possible. If there is an incident or accident, I always get a call, or at least an accident report (if its something very minor). My daughter is always happy to go there and is greeted by former teachers as we travel down the hall to her classroom. The owner is very friendly and keeps me updated on cute/funny things my daughter says and does, and shes always ready with a hug for my daughter. The learning activities are very thorough. She and I have a long ride to and from home everyday, during which time we can talk about the things shes learning. Im often impressed by what she is picking up from the teachers and activities. The crafts and projects they do are designed to practice and enhance dexterity and creativity, and to broaden the imagination. When the weather is appropriate for outdoor play, they go out for playtime and exercise. During the summer, they may even have water time outside in a kiddie pool. There are several programs that come to the school if you want to sign your child up for extra activities, for example: soccer, gymnastics, and foreign language classes. I would highly recommend this daycare to friends and family, or anyone that asked. I have been thoroughly pleased with my and my childs experience here.

We love Golden Apple, my daughter has been going there since she was about 8 weeks old. Miss Sheila, the owner, is awesome and is involved with all the classrooms and takes an interest in every child. One day, she came home with a big red mark on her cheek - my husband thought it was a bruise, but we discovered that it was a lipstick kiss mark - all the teachers my daugher have had have hugged her and made her feel loved, including Miss Sheila. I like all the acitivities they do - now that my daughter is 2, she tells me what they do each day. She loves "circle time" - where they read books, dance and sing songs - she even asks for circle time at home. She tells me all the time that she loves Miss Rachel and Miss Brittney (her current teachers) and when we drive by on the weekends, she says "I want to see my school and my teachers". It may not be the fanciest daycare in town, but its always clean, Im always infomed if other kids in her class are sick and my daughter is always loved and enjoys being there.

The best child development center in town. My daughter, Brooklyn went there until she graduated preschool, and started kindergarten. She is now getting ready to graduate high school, & still talks about being there & how they make the best pb&j sandwiches ever! We had an issue upon entering there because of a previous issue at another center, but Ms. Sheila worked that out within the first week. (Thank you AGAIN Sheila). My daughter loved going every day, & what a great feeling as a parent when your child asks to go to (school).

Our daughter goes here. Great place, and great ladies that really care about each individual child.
