I have been a client at Luster for a year. The last time I went in I left unhappy with my color not being at all what I had asked for. I was told by my talented sylist Diane that I had to be red or go darker that she could not take me blonde after the services were complete. I was extrememly unhappy. I was told the owner Carmella would make me pay anyway. So $250 and one unhappy customer later I left a review stating I was unhappy with my options and being told by my stylist to get a color correcting kit when I paid $250 was not professional. Carmella did not appreciate my review so she chose not to have it posted on the site that handles their reviews and instead sent me a nasty email dropping me as a customer. Unprofessional and immature! She may be an adult running a business but she behaves like a child. Instead of fixing a good customers hair and have continued business together she chose to write me a snippy email and bar me as a customer. I found another local salon to fix what Diane had done to my hair. BE CAUTIOUS about their "reviews" Carmella hand selects what gets posted so you never read anything negative. Im embarassed for her that she acted this way. I will continue to spend my money at a professional salon who listens and understands the customers needs above and beyond the owners bloated ego! I had also "liked" their page on Facebook and when I just logged in they blocked me from their page. Just a futher demonstration of Carmella being a child. Not everyone is going to be happy 100% of the time, thats a fact of being a business owner, poor customer service and child like antics are all you will get in return for spending your money at luster! I would NEVER recommend Luster to another person!!

Amber and Luster Salon are now my favorite! Being in an Army town there are plenty of places to get your hair cut if you want the standard high and tight using clippers and a vacuum but I was looking for a new place to get a more professional looking haircut. I started my contact with an email to ask them about their services and I received a quick and courteous response. After talking via email I was told that Amber would be my best fit and she had an open appointment very soon. I showed up and Amber greeted me with a smile, ready to show me around their salon. She was very thorough in finding out exactly what I was wanting done. She told me her thoughts and we decided on what to do. She was very friendly and was able to hold a good conversation while she worked. As she was working, she kept me informed with each step and made sure I understood what she was doing. She took her time to make sure I was completely satisfied with her work. When she finished, I was extremely happy with the results. She showed me the products she was using but never made the sale of them the priority of my visit. Knowing this is the place I have been looking for, I have already made my next appointment. I look forward to going back there. Upate: I am very impressed with their courtesy and attention to the customer. I was sent several notices (based on my profile setup) and I was able to confirm my appointment with ease. They have always been very pleasant and happy when I spoke with them on the phone and in person.

Let me start by saying I am a person once I find the perfect Hairdresser I will stay with that person forever. The person that use to do my hair I stayed with her for 12 years until she decided she wanted to spend more time with her family very understandable. So I went on an adventure to find another person that would know how to handle my thick wavy hair. I was very disappointed with many of Clarksville hair salons I would walk out in tears looking like fluffarilla or a q-tip. Then I went to Lusters and Tori took me in and performed a miracle. I was so over joyed I wanted to hug her....It was like AAAAAAAHHHH I found my person. I have been going to her for over a year and have had no complaints she listens to what I have to say and gives me great suggestions. Just walking into Lusters you get a warm greeting from Cheyanne their receptionist and they truly care about you... Ask me if I refer friends and family to Tori and my answer is heck YES.. She is the most kind hearted and caring hairdresser and she totally knows her stuff... Thank you Tori for doing what you do.....

I had been going to luster for the past year and a half and experience has always just been ok unless my last visit. I was ready to check out and the receptionist was on the phone making an appointment for another client and Carmella came over to help her while I continued to wait for almost 10 minutes. I told her I needed to go and she simply said sorry its going to be a minute. Clearly not feeling any sense of urgency. I dont understand why she couldnt have simply put the client on hold to ring me out which would clearly take less time than being on the phone and not knowing how to schedule appointments. I was disappointed in the customer service when Im standing right there trying to pay when a customer on the phone takes priority. I wont be returning as my patronage is not respected or valued.

I decided about a year ago that I needed to break-up with me hairdresser and make a switch. I had heard a lot of wonderful things about Carmella and that she had opened her own salon. So I gave it a try. Ive never been happier. I love how she does my hair. I have very long thick hair that she really has done a great job of taking the weight out of. Fewer ponytail headaches are a good thing. She also dyes/tints and waxes my eyebrows and I have been thoroughly pleased with that service as well. I have had other stylist at her salon assist in my visits as well and they did a great job and she checked with them often to make sure things were going well. I have and will continue to recommend Luster Salon.

I visited Luster salon today and it was the most wonderful experience! Not only was my stylist so talented and courteous, she even took the time to teach me a way to do my hair! The environment was relaxing and incredibly clean; the workers were friendly and offered a free drink to me and my fiancé. There are so many good things to say about the visit. When I signed up for the appointment, they called just to make sure that they had plenty of time to ensure that I get the best cut. Amber saved my hair and now my hair feels and looks amazing! I couldnt be happier and will definitely recommend this salon to anyone.

Just got my hair trimmed yesterday by Tori. Shes great! I LOVE the way she handled my long layers. I hadnt had a trim for about a year and you can tell she knows what she is doing because she barely took much off but still did an EXCELLENT job at getting all those nasty stringy ends off but without making my hair have those "choppy" looking layers which look really awesome too but just arent my thing. I honestly havent had a better trim lol. The salon is ADORABLE and the girls that were working there were really sweet too!! Definitely going back there. :)
