I broke down while traveling through Murfreesboro, I had no idea where to take my car. I checked everything I could on the car and realized I was going to have to get a professional take a look at it. I called Chevrolet of Murfreesboro and after taking all of my contact information and long description of my automotive issues they told me it would be a week before they could work it in. I searched on line for repeatable Automotive Repair Center, I was nervous because I dont know anyone in Murfreesboro. I called Hackett Brothers Automotive and I am so glad I did. These guys are top notch in every way, not to even mention very knowledgeable and experienced mechanics. They went above and beyond - they worked my car in the same day I called, ran the diagnostics and had an answer for me in no time. They part I needed was difficult to locate and Hacketts helped me search for a part and use their phones to make calls and track a part down. I was so impressed with their service, attitude and hospitality that I left my car with them and had the part shipped to their shop instead of having it towed home to be repaired. Thanks Hacketts for the Great Customer Service - I am impressed!

2001 acura integra - timing belt stripped. I had paid another local shop to replace it a few years ago, but when this happened it became obvious that they hadnt done the work. I feared that the engine was trashed, which was what the other shop told me, but the Hackett Bros. found that the valves were not damaged, and fixed it for a reasonable fee. Its running great now. Ive taken it for a few long drives just to be sure. I will trust them to take care of my vehicles from now on.

I have to agree with the other reviews that the Hackett Brothers are the best mechanics I have ever known. My truck and I miss them terribly since moving away from Murfreesboro. They maintained my 97 Ford Explorer for the six years that I lived in Murfreesboro. My truck now has 255,000 miles on it and I attribute that to their phenomenal service. They are the BEST EVER!! Not only are they excellent mechanics, but their honesty and integrity is beyond reproach.

This is the kind of shop I will recommend to friends and family. They were able to not only fix my Jetta that had not been run in years, but quickly get my AC back up and running as well for this hot summer. Also was kept posted on their findings throughout the entire process - and they explained details in a manner I could understand and relate to (as cars are not my thing!). Could not be happier and will return for any other automotive needs.

Please do not take your car to the guess brothers, go to a shade tree worker. You stand a better chance of getting it done right,these guys fixed my car replacing the hose and a new gasket gap, for 360.00. My car ran for 5 hours, The car then ran hot, I took it back and now they say its the water pump. They never fix m car on the first try, I always have to go back again. I am so done with these guys

I took my car in for a repair. My car happens to be equipped with a dash camera which records the drivers POV anytime the engine is running. Upon receiving my car back, I discovered that the camera had been tampered with and that video files recorded while in the shops possession had been deleted. The repair seems to have been done correctly, so Im not sure what they are trying to hide.

Came here a few years to replace a battery under warranty, new battery died came back they first couldnt find my information and then ordered me another battery and said 20 to 30 minutes been about hour and a half still waiting. They didnt even check why it wasnt here until I asked not a happy customer.
