I used to like this place, and I always went to Boon, who did a good job for awhile. After awhile she started slacking, rushing to finish my color, and trying to do a bunch of "extra stuff" to charge me more and more money every time. The other day, I went and she was not there. Another stylist did my hair.... I think her name was Brandy... anyway, she was SO rude. From the moment I walked in, she acted like I was inconveniencing her by being there. (I was the ONLY person in there!!!!) She COMPLETELY DESTROYED my eyebrows. Its going to take me MONTHS to grow them back correctly. There is practically nothing left. She did a quick shoddy hair cut and talked to the other stylist the entire time rather than paying attention to what she was doing, and she didnt cut it correctly. I should have just gone to Great Clips and gotten a $5 hair cut, because it would have been about the same. The hair cut was $45!!!!!! Like I said, they used to be okay, but after this experience with this horrible rude girl that doesnt deserve a license to cut hair, I will not go back. If Im going to spend nearly $200 anyway, I will take my business to Tangerine where they know what theyre doing.

Definitely would never recommend this place to anyone. A family member of mine goes here and I thought it would be fine for kit to do my hair. I asked for something specific and was told since my hair was not thick that I could not get that done and I was okay with that so I picked out a different hair color ... little did I know that was NOT the color I was going to get... my hair is blonde and she dropped brown dye all in my blonde hair and did not even fix my roots she only did half of my head in low lights... looked horrible and she knew it looked horrible so she curled it so it would look better well when I straightened my hair it looked a mess.. patches all over my head of brown drops of dye all over my head and when I called to ask if she could fix it she said there was nothing she could do.. highly dissatisfied .. I even have pictures to prove it .. even spent 175 on this horrible hair but did not notice all the flaws until I actually straightened my hair..

Let me start by saying, i usually dont get upset. But i went in and asked for fohawk, keep the side burns. And and with trim beard. The first thing cut was the side burns. So thought to myself and got over it. But the fohawk was changed to mohawk, my choice, because i already lost the burns. When it was done it was angles the mohawk was not straight down the middle. I got upset told the worker (Boon) to cut it all off.. so now were at tje beard.. and its trimmed. I am blind without my glasses which i kept putting on but when inspected at the mirror.. i have patches with no hair. Not just the beard either, my head all over nothing was cut right and i have to go back over everything. I am so angry about it. But i payed for it and left because i had to be back at work. I just want to save of u a trip of frustration right now. Or at least with a barber u trust. Never been here before, and wont be back..

This place is a complete rip off. Every Monday and Tuesday they have buy one get one free haircuts. My husband took in 7 children for haircuts (2 teenagers and 5 kids age 10-3) The prices on their door states that kid cuts are $15. My older girls were charged as adults ($25) I totally understood that cause they are older however she then charged $25 for two more kids under age 10 and then another $25 more for the final kids. Grand total was $100 which means she did not give half price haircuts or she jacked the price up for a kid cut. When my husband and I both talked to her about it she was giving excuses on why she charged more and then when I called her as well about a price quote she wouldnt take my call saying she was busy with a client. I left my number and she has refused to return my call. NEVER GO HERE..their service is awful and so is their customer service!!!

Do NOT go to Hair N XS in Murfreesboro, TN. Ive been going there for almost a year, because I loved my stylist. Shes the only reason I put up with this place. However, now that shes gone, its an absolute NIGHTMARE. Management charges me something different every single time I go in there. They know Im a student, and that I ask for the bare minimum in order to save money. Not only is it $10 for a shampoo and $35 for a cut (EVEN THOUGH MY HAIR IS ABOVE MY SHOULDERS), its an extra $10 JUST FOR A BLOW DRY!!! Thats not even including a style afterwards. It would be one thing if this salon was a top-notch, chic establishment, but its not even close. Its along the same lines as Great Clips with the addition of obnoxious prices. I am livid.

I have used this business for several years and they do a fantastic job on both mine and my wifes hair. They are a family-owned and run business that has a fun and relaxing attitude, but ultimately, they just do really good work. Some have complained about the price, but they run weekly specials (normally Tuesdays for those more price conscience) but I have found them in line with higher-skilled salons. They also offer a relaxing shampoo and head message for those stressful days. This business is nothing like the production line chains, which are cheaper, if that is what you want. But if you want a quality cut, detailed-oriented services in a friendly environment, then this is an excellent place to try.

Way over priced!!! They charge the same for a 7 year old as they do adults. They cut my hair and the 7 year olds hair way too short. Toward the end of my cut another lady had to finish it. I never got to see if before leaving. When I got home I had to cut my own hair to fix up what they screwed up. Now my hair is way too short. So much for growing it out.

I think they do excellent work. Not at all like a Great Clips, in my opinion and experience. I have been going there almost 8 years. Its a little pricy but with hair like mine.( no body at all) it requires more help than most people. Sometimes Id try someone different, but I keep coming back. So I think my searching is over. Try them, hope you like them.,

I have went to Hair in XS for about 9 years. For a guys haircut, no one can beat it. Pricy, yes, but you get what you pay for and I will be going here for the next 9 years!

Ive been going for years, its a great place and nice atmosphere. They dont just do hair cuts, they do hair styling to and always do a great job.
