I was able to put on a pair of jeans this morning that were in the discard pile for Goodwill as too tight and wanted to publicly thank Louie Oropeza at Next Level Fitness for helping make that happen. I have worked with trainers at Next Level on and off since they opened and have been training with Louie specifically for six months or so. When I started working with Louie I told him my two specific goals were: better shoulders and improved abdominals and back. We have made significant progress in both those areas. I appreciate that Louie keeps my goals in mind while mixing things up and making our work-outs interesting. Nothing is cookie-cutter and you can tell he has put thought into what needs to happen for me individually to achieve my goals. Once he was sure I was willing to work hard he has pushed me to my limits in each work out but with a good sense of when to pull back a bit so that I could feel I was being successful. I have been particularly pleased with my increased core and shoulder strength as well as better overall flexibility. None of this would have happened without proper nutrition and Louie has been invaluable there also. He is a great resource for eating to win and has helped me work out a diet plan that is both manageable and effective. If I have questions outside of the gym he is always available via text message to help me. Louie is very low-key and easy to get along with and totally without drama, which creates a comfortable, supportive work-out environment. Next Level Fitness itself is a laid back and un-intimidating gym. There is plenty of room for all the trainers and their clients and a good variety of equipment to keep things interesting. The other trainers are friendly and most of the clients are just regular folks trying to get fit. While it is not cheap it has been well worth the money to me because I have been able to achieve my goals in a way I was never able to by myself at the Y. Thanks, Louie!

If you are ready to absolutely change your life, this is where you need to go. The energy in the place is addictive and beyond motivating. I love that there arent people standing around staring at themselves in the mirrors. Everyone here is working and working hard. I have the privilege to train with Jack and due to the changes I can already see in my body just after a few weeks, I consider him the best! Jack makes these workouts seem easy. Don’t get me wrong, there is NOTHING easy about them but when I am finished, showered and driving down the road, I have to ask myself if I’ve just worked out as hard as I know I did! He is completely motivating and teaches so much during the session that your mind tends to focus on what he’s saying rather than what your body is doing. I have met some of the other trainers and was nervous about being around them but they are all extremely friendly and welcoming. Jack has shared a little bit about all of them and certainly gave me the impression that anyone who trains with them will be more than pleased. Jack will be gone for a few days and I will be training with some of the others and now I’m looking forward to it instead of being nervous. The facility is amazing! It’s large, clean, doesn’t smell like a gym and has everything you need. I had packed all my stuff to shower, etc and to my surprise, there is shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. There is even a professional blow dryer for your use. The showers are extremely spacious and beautifully tiled. The sinks are glass bowls with modern fixtures on a raised counter (a tall person’s dream). There are some private dressing rooms for those who are a bit modest and the most important thing is it’s extremely clean! I could go on and on about NLF but you need to try it for yourself! All I know is that I increased the days I work out and look forward to each of them.

I started training at Next Level Fitness with David Harvick about 2 months ago. I have played baseball my whole life, but as I move toward a music career, I need to change my image. I have always been athletic, but I have also always been "the skinny kid". Earlier this year, I was almost "underweight" as I was 6 2" and 146 lbs. I decided it was time to take my body to the next level, and David has done more than what I expected or have received from any of my other trainers, including my Division 1 college trainers. In 2 months, I am still 6 2" but am proud to say I stand at 160 lbs. My arms, legs, and chest are getting bigger, my abs are more defined and Im starting to really like what I see in the mirror. My girlfriend loves my new body and I am very excited to continue training with David. Another problem I have is my nutrition. I know what to eat, but not how to make it. David met me at the grocery store, told me what to buy (meats, spices, veggies, etc), and then we went to his house where I met his family and he showed me a variety of ways to prepare it. I only pay for 30 minute training sessions. The hours that he took, and the time he devoted to me and my goals is unprecedented. I feel like I have a new friend. After just 2 months, most of the other trainers know my name and always say hi to me with a smile on their face. Jack, the owner, has always been friendly and asks me how I am doing with my training as well as the rest of my life. I dont ever feel like a client, I always feel like a friend whos presence is truly valued. David keeps me honest and works me hard, but he always gives me encouragement and positive reinforcement when I do my best. Bottom line: Great trainers, great people, great value.

I have worked with Wolly Wolcott for almost a year now and I cannot say enough good things about him. We used to work together in Cool springs and when he switched to working full time at Next Level I followed him because I believe in the work he does. When we started working together I went in for weight loss, and to be over all healthier. I wanted to work with a personal trainer because I knew that I had to have someone expecting me in order for me to get myself in the gym but also to show me how to properly do the exercises. To work on the weight loss we focused on strength training because the more muscle you have the more fat you will burn. We also addressed nutrition and how that is also very important. One of the many things I love about Wolly is that he believes that there is no reason you have to kill yourself in order to get a good work out. A lot of group classes that I have gone to have me laying on my back at the end, which is not enjoyable. Needless to say we go in, have a good time and still get the job done. I also love that Wolly is encouraging without being overbearing or pushy. He really cares about the wellbeing of his clients and wants to see them succeed. As a result to working with him I feel stronger, move better, look better and am more aware of how to treat my body right. There are many more great things I could say about Wolly but I would encourage you to find out for yourself how great of a trainer and person he is.
