There are not enough words to describe the thanks I have for the Staff at Pleasant View Auto and Transmission. I own a 1993 short bed Chevy pick-up and was having issues with my heater during the winter. I took the vehicle into Chevrolet Dealership in Clarksville, TN to have them fix the problem and was told that I need to have some major work done on it to get it to work correctly. I paid well over a $1000 and my truck spent almost two weeks at the shop. I picked up the vehicle and found that the heater problem was not corrected. I returned it to the service department and again they worked on it but this time they corrected the problem by flushing out the heater coil (Was this not checked when it went out?). Fast forward a 1 ½ - 2 months and the truck was running very rough. I spoke to the Service Department and was told to bring it in seeing that they did the major work on the engine prior. Chevrolet Dealer had the vehicle for a week and was unable to figure out what was going on. Their response was to do a $1700 ring and piston job on the #3 cylinder or get a new engine for $4100. At that point I picked up my vehicle and took it over to Chris Patterson and his Staff at Pleasant View Auto and Transmission (PVA & T) via a referral from a friend of mine. I told PVA & T what the Dealership had discussed with me. I spoke to Chris about replacing the engine but Chris insisted that they do a check of the vehicle themselves. The first day my vehicle was in the shop they figured out what the problem was and had it fixed the next day. I was EXTREMELY happy with the cost to fix the issue and very disappointed that the Chevrolet Service Department couldn’t figure it out themselves. To Chris and his Staff you have made me a believer and a patron of your services!

We were traveling with the whole family from South Florida to Southeast Missouri when our car would not start after getting gas in Pleasant View. I used my phone to locate the nearest shop and we were so lucky we found Pleasant View Auto and Transmission! After hearing our story, he got our car up on the lift right away, and it turns out, it was just a wire to the starter! The owner was so nice and the shop was so clean. He only charged us $35 in labor. It was a hot day and he was busy, but he really took the time to get us back on the road and safely to Missouri. I really cannot say thank you enough!

I have lived in Pleasant View, TN since 2006 and was looking for a local repair shop to maintain my vehicles. When I heard that Pleasant View Auto & Transmission opened, I chose to take my one of my vehicles there for service and was impressed with the promptness and quality repair work. Since my first visit, I have returned several times for additional maintenance and I remain very satisfied with their work. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a quality repair shop.

Im not quick to trust anyone (especially with mechanical repair - Ive been let down too many times). That said, there is not an ounce of worry when I drop my vehicles off ... they treat your car no differently than their own. If I took my car or truck to another shop in a DREAM, Id wake-up and call Chris Patterson to apologize. The best service available!!! Thanks, Greg.

I lost my alternator belt while traveling through Pleasant View and though I determined to fix it myself, I just didnt have the muscle or a thorough knowledge for much of it. These guys were kind enough to lend their muscle and know how to get me back on the road quickly. It was greatly appreciated!

Ive been here 3 times for anything from oil change to clutch and wheel bearing replace. Ive always been treated fairly and received great service. Its nice to have a good alternative to dealership.

Could not be better. They put "dealer service departments" to shame. They finished my van when promised and at the estimate cost. Honest professionals, wish Id found them sooner.
