The worst service Ive encountered with regards to serving the customers. First, no one answers the phone. When you drive to the facility at Alamo Heights no one takes responsibility to assist if its not selling stamps or mailing packages. Its the ol "its not my job" or "thats not our policy" Went to get an address change in person because online the website said the address I resided in was a business. And USPS does not forward from business to individual mail. It is NOT a business!!! After living at the address more than 18 years, they still believe their data base over my word. I should know, it was my residence, a 2-story house!!! But even the Supervisor did not care to correct the problem. Pathetic service. Why are people like these still employed? They cannot think for themselves if it messes IP their daily stamp selling routine. Have not received a single letter that should have been forwarded, and have had to slowly been calling individual companies of why my mail is not being forwarded due to the incompetence of the Alamo Heights USPS Supervisor who is unable to provide real customers service. P.S. On a different example, the Supervisor would not allow a customers to take a picture of the package he was sending. The reason; the Supervisor said, "You dont take pictures in the court house, do you?" What logic or comparison is that?! Just shows who we are dealing with here. And to think this goes on on a daily basis, and is this the Alamo Heights USPS office only, or is this a widespread USPS flaw? I recommend ALL sites fire all employees and turn each site into a SELF-SERVE just as customers self-serve at Home Depot when checking out. Eliminate all employees. We can send our own packages and purchase our own insurance and stamps!

First of all, I ordered a package via internet. When I checked it said it was going to be delivered on the 8th. It wasnt. Instead was the little card that tells you, you have a package at the post office. I met the post man outside the next morning and he told me he took it back to the post office because it wouldnt fit in my mail box (didnt bother to bring it to the door). He told me I could take the little card to the post office, and started to try to give me the address, however, Im nine months pregnant, so Im like, "No...do your job...bring my package." (blank stare) He finally concedes, and has me check the box for "deliver" before taking the card back, and telling me hell bring it the next morning by 10a.m. Soooo...the next morning, I see his car out my second floor apartment window and wait, ten minutes, twenty minutes, thirty minutes, then... hes gone. I go downstairs...and this LAZY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE has put the little card back in my mailbox, scribbled out the check in the box that I checked for "deliver", and wrote, "still at post office."! To add insult to injury...Ive been calling the post office for the past 4 days, and as everyone has stated...the line is busy. Theres no way theyre taking calls like that. Theyve simply taken the phone of the hook. When I go pick up this package, Im going straight for the supervisor. (And these jokers have jobs security...Worst than university professors on tenure)

This place is absurdly ridiculous. The customer service is non existent. I have a fractured left knee (i was hit by a pickup truck while walking across a street) and i dont have all the cartilage in my right knee. I was waiting for the supervisor for about 30 mins ( mind you im on crutches) and then a lady asked for my name and number so the supervisor can give me a call. I am highly pissed of that not only did i have drive but i has to wait and then was turned away becuase some postal service employee falsely noted that a delivery attempt was made at 408pm on saturday and that a notice was posted. I was home all day saturday, not once did my bell ring nor did anyone knock on my door. This is not the first tome ive had an issue with this post office and it doesnt help that no one ever answers the phone. I will be writing a letter to corporate as well as to the post office. Completely and utterly incompetent service. I would rather have the option to pay more with Amazon to have my mail always shipped to me via UPS then have to deal with this post office again.

Customer serviced was horrible the lines wasnt to bad but could have better. dont waste your time calling no one picks up and if they do its a miracle I called at least 25 times in 2 hours. Im trying to get a passport according to the state department website for this station you have to make an appointment and they give you the regular number not the one you need just a waste. when you go in there is a different number posted and they say you have to make an appointment I mentioned about the number I called that I wasted my time just to come down the person I talked to forgot what her name was some black lady or something seemed not to care I called the other number which I called 32 times and finally they picked up the guy was said I could go to another location because this one has a 3 week wait on passport appointments.. the other one you dont need anything just come in with your stuff. but yeah i wasnt happy now I have to get up super early to go to another station and give them $190 for a book and card passport. Free Americans huh.

Id like to give negative stars. Terrible service from the carrier to the desk agents. Packages shipped to my business are left at other suite #s and each time there is a note there is an incorrect suite number or missing. When the package is recovered then its actually correct. Hes jut lazy and drops everything off at suite 1s porch...yes left outside. $4000 in products left on a doorstep of someone else. Now they returned my packages today saying bad address. They hung up when iI called to complain saying its my fault if I cant get my address correct, and the address once again is correct from the sender as we verified it. Now when calling back the pick up the phone and hang it up. Like childen. NO wonder USPS is not sued as much as UPS and Fed X. I now will be shipping everything via another way than USPS. I have now called 17 times today and each time. each time it rings without a pick up. 18t time Edith picks up and when I try to say why Im calling she says hold on, hangs up.

How do I give this post office 0 stars?!? The mail man is either illiterate, incompetent, or just plain stupid. 3 times I have called and complained about my mail being returned to sender. Im talking about important mail, CPS, AT&T, Social Security. And some idiot is marking the mail vacant, or return to sender. Currently i am listening to their phone line just ring. 5 times Ive called today and it rings for 3 minutes 49 seconds then goes to a busy signle. And there is the busy signal again. Is it the carrier or the folks that are sperating the mail? Who do i yell at? I am off today and Im going to meet the mail man. This is ridiculous. Just spoke with Adam, says he will take care of it today, really? This is the 3rd time Ive called, but ok Adam. Next Im writing a letter to my congressman. Ill have to hand deliver it, but something has to be done.
