Do not go to the facility in Allen TX. Most do not know what is happening inside this club and have the right to know as a member. The management is the worst Ive seen. Clif seems to try for the Kids Club, but is all talk and no action. Promises toys and materials will be purchased and never follows through. There is little formal training for Highschool graduates and up and no support. They are CPR trained and work hard, but are treated horribly. No set schedules and management never seems to know what they are doing or how to schedule correctly. They have the childcare worker fill out an incident report but then never follow up on them. That is the point of a report. Your children are not safe here. If reports are not followed by an action of suspension, a child or children, who should not be there will eventually hurt your child. There are no separate areas for different ages, even though it has been suggested to make a separate infant area. It also has never been followed up. Lately, there was a wrongful termination, in my opinion. A boy, who loved working with the children and they loved him, was let go because a fight happened and they said he did not react quickly enough. 3 people in an area and he is the only one let go. At the time, and it is on tape, he was holding a child and verbally telling the children to stop. When it definitely was getting worse, he put the child down, he and the attendant behind the desk, got between them and an incident report was written. 3 people and they were the only ones who reacted but he was let go. Why? Thats hard to know, but you dont see a lot of boys working in the Kids Club area do you? Think about it. He was humiliated and told to go to the Child center to let the other worker know he had to leave and why in front of the children. This is a managers job. The other person involved in this incident...well she was there somewhere? She says bathroom but the incident was 15 minutes long according to management. Why has she not been fired for either not being at her area or ignored the situation completely?? So a person, who did react, is let go. Seem wrong? It gets worse. The missing girl in this incident has also had other issues, but is somehow still there. She is either late or doesnt show up. She even text her manager that she partied too much and that is why she wasnt there that morning. She brought razor blades into work that were confiscated by her manager. She has left crying numerous times, left work early for cramps, witnessed sleeping while working and has had headphones in her ears. Hard to hear the children that way? Yet, somehow this person still remains employed? How? Nobody has any idea. But a very hard working boy is told to leave after one incident when others were there as well. Hes told he hasnt reacted before. This is not true and never has had a verbal or written warning prior to this incident. Wrongful termination? I absolutely believe so. Now on to outside the Child Center. The new manager and a new membership sales person were investigated and found guilty for not following protocol with members accounts. In fact, not legal. Yet, they are still there? There is no cohesive atmosphere. Rarely does the front desk want to help out the child center when needed, and lack of support in all areas in regards to management. There are many reports on this site about member fees and that is also an issue at this club as well. Now back to the Main focus..knowing what you do now, do you feel safe leaving your children in an area that is not backed up by management? The rest of the child care staff are working hard and writing reports that go ignored. If you would like a safe environment, play equipment, a separate infant area and toys, let management know and loudly.

First of all the manager cares. The only one Ive experienced really caring. I have arthritis, and osteoporosis. I have had hip and knee surgery. I use a noodle and ride the noodle like a bicycle. Also I swim with my arms. I could barely do 20 min. when I first began and could barely walk to get the noodle back to the pool steps. I now swim an hour when I come and sit in the whirlpool. I have no swelling in my ankles and legs. Ive lost weight and inches. Im down from obese to overweight. I slowly losing pounds and inches. I dont go too fast because it irritates my knee and hip. I leave after work and go to the pool and go in on Sat. and Sun. Im trying to do 4 days a week. I want to up it to 5. I think I will probably really be able to do 4. If I had not been working out, I would not be able to walk as well, have as much strength, and definitely would have had to have knee surgery. Again I want to say thank you to the staff and the manager. Im older, and he still cares. I work 6 days a week at a Health Clinic in Plano at the front desk. I consider this to be one of the most important things I do besides my wonderful family etc. I lost my son @ age 45. I helps with the horrible pain of losing him. I also use protein drinks, and am trying to cut the carbs. Going to get a phone so I can use the My fitness pal app. A strong reminder. ha. When you realize what all the stuff does to you, you have a bit more resolve to hang in there.

Dirty and not maintained - machines stay broken (once broken), crystallized sweat on cardio machines (janitor is too busy sniffing booty rather than cleaning...and yes, he gets close enough to sniff while youre on the stairmaster...something to think about), mosquitoes in locker rooms and showers (a serious problem...and I mean serious), no shower curtains (if you like to graze ball-sacks and THE brown eye in the shower walkway because people are inconsiderate, then its perfectly fine...or if you like to get sprayed by someones scum while leaving the shower, then its perfectly fine), dirty pool (snickers or turd? Sand or dead feet-skin cells?), dungeon-like kids area (windows would help), and actual genuine care by management would be great. Some of these issues are not isolated to this location. Only location I have found up to standards in the DFW area is the Castle Hills Super Sport location...that location sets an example of how every 24hr fitness should be, and I hope that location keeps up the good work.

Got harassed yesterday for working out with my own children. I was accused of being a trainer the harassment lasted 30 minutes all because the trainers there are thirsty and obviously intimidated. My kids are basketball players and all i see the trainers doing is training people that are over 45 years old doing more talking than working. The manager flagged my account and i was never asked anything prior or given the benefit of the doubt. No warning no anything. The steam room has not been working for weeks and the hot tub was down yesterday. I think the manager and staff of 24 hour fitness of allen should be worried about their facility and the amenities they are advertising working properly instead of harrassing members because their trainers are starving. Sounds like personal problem to me! The customer is always right!! 24 hour fitness addison is way better ran and all things advertised actaully work including the trainers!!!!Given by the reviews rating im not alone
