I have been with the gym for half a year now. I was happy with the gym mostly. Its close to home, has all the equipment I need, and not so crowded. But I went to workout as usual on a Saturday afternoon. Since theres no proviate room anymore. I was stretching on the floor outside the trainers office. After two mins on the floor (technically on a mat.) I saw some really big ants on the floor. So I stand I and tried to get away from them. Unfortunately, they still got me, and bite my arm (as you can see in the picture. My right arm is now two size swollen as my left arm.) I went to talk to the staffs in the front. They didnt pay much attention to me. Just grab a bottle, and said they are going to spray them. I didnt go back to the area since then. But I just dont understand how the fire ants get into the gym. And why they fail to target them before those ants bite customer. Also its the area that customer generally will be working on a mat on the floor. Its not that I randomly lied down on some gym corner and got bite.

Overall, my experience here has been excellent. A lot of folks complained on Yelp about having trouble cancelling services and receiving refunds, but that was not my experience at all. I signed up for YouCoach, but realized that there wasnt a coach that was able to work with my early morning request (only reason I deducted one star). I took a YouCoach cancelation letter into the manager and explained my situation. He apologized and within 4 business days the refund was processed. From a gym that has such bad reviews for cancellation of services, I was shocked and extremely thankful. This is a no thrills locker room environment, but they have a lot of weight machines and even more cardio equip. Quite the deal with quality employees and practices!

(Update: The location will now close at 12am M-TH I feel like if it can not attract enough traffic to stay open it may soon go out of business. In the meantime, it may lose members. The taco place hidden around the corner is killing it til 3am. Whats your excuse?) The hours of this gym are inexcusably bad. Months after joining I have to check hours before I go to make sure they are not closed. Terribly confusing and inconvenient. For someone who will often workout at night, closing at 8pm simply doesnt get it. Even if its not every day, it might as well be. Other issues are gym layout, locker room design (only one shower + handicap,) and two large rooms that go essentially unused not being available for stretching, lunges, etc

Before you join i encourage you to read the other reviews about trying to cancel your membership. great while i was working out there. but try to cancel and they will stalk you like a crazed ex girl friend. Multiple calls to their manager and discover finally got them to stop charging my credit card (i had to end up calling discovers fraud department). now a year later they come around a tell me Im in collection and that i own them more than 100 bucks. haha i pity any one else who tries to leave this place. ive gotten in contact with my credit card company to send me the letters that they sent to you fit and reached out to the manager. i will up date when this all shakes out.

I wrote a review on Facebook and they blocked me and deleted it. All in all very disappointed they did that seeing that I have been a member for a while. I used to recommend this place until they no longer allowed individuals to access room for workouts that required more privacy instead of performing them on the workout floor where all males would stare. I dont understand why they deleted my Facebook review seeing that it was an honest review and they also blocked me . Very unprofessional thing to do youfit.

You just need to change your staff in the front desk. Very poor customer service and bad attitude. I was using the yoga hall but the guy in the front desk came and wanted me to get out,, whatta hell is that mean ? for what am I paying for ?! Its my first day but I had very bad experiences its going to be my last month. I am not recommending to come anyone to this place. I used to go LA Fitness! Just they were charging an extra more 10$ but LA is the best Fitness club that I ever been!!!

Overall Ive been satisfied with ONLY the workout equipment. Usually the mens locker room is messy and needs cleaning. BUT WHAT I MOST HATE LATELY, IS THAT THEY HAVE RUN OUT OF HOT WATER several times since they opened this location. Last time staff didnt really seem to care. They said they knew about this last time from other members, but could not seem to care enough to post a sign. OH WELL, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR....CHEAP MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP FEE...CHEAP GYM.

I love this gym! The staff is very friendly I have met some really great people. I love how they recognize their regulars and will even greet you by first name. The YouFit coaches are awesome as they will push and motivate you to be at your best. I just love love LOVE the Zumba instructor on Mondays and Wednesdays. If from some reason she is out for one of those days, I dont even bother doing Zumba and will just focus on the machines.

Went to cancel my membership on the day my payment was coming out and they informed me that my payment was already processed for the month and then on top of that charged me another ten dollars to cancel. Why in gods name could you not take that monthly fee and apply it to cancellation fee. I obviously do not wan to come back for the month of May!!! Also, the girls at the front were no help. Not.A.Fan.

This YouFit location is pretty great. They keep everything clean and keep the equipment in good shape. Even though the gym is already big, it feels like it needs to be bigger because it tends to fill up which makes it difficult to find an empty squat rack or bench near the dumbbells. I would be happy of they added two more benches near the dumbbell area.

Employees are fine but the management of the facilities horrible if you ever want to cancel youll end up having to probably go through hell they reduced hours two times in a year. Employees didnt even know of the change and none of them knew how to cancel the membership Its inexpensive but you get what you pay for I would not recommend

Love this gym. I was going to the Youfit in Mesquite and didnt like it at all, switched to Richardson location and its a world of difference, cleaner gym, nice selection of equipment, way better staff and the overall atmosphere is better. Staff is always super friendly. Highly recommend Youfit and the Richardson location.

I had a very very bad experience with this gym. I am very busy guy, and I havent used the gym for 4 months while paying for it then I decided to temporarily terminate and re activate it when I am available. They charge me extra fee for terminating it. They are switch and bait. watch to the terms and conditions...

was a Nice place to work out. now its too pack to even work out in the evening. cant even work out late cause now of course they closed at midnight. rather pay an extra 4 dollar to move down to 24hr fitness where they have a pool, sauna, free towels, better locker room... and is actually opened 24hours.
