When looking for the most effective workout or advice in an atmoshpere thats comfortable and inviting, look to Gym One. As a long time "gym rat" Ive seen every attempt at being "new" or "trendy" in the athletic scene. Ive also seen how badly this can end up. Ive never seen a gym that combined such an exceptionally pleasing environment and impressive physical fitness all under one roof. This is far and away the best gym Ive ever been to in terms of equipment, staff, surroundings, and effectiveness. There is always a trainer that can help with any kind of specialized training from kinesthetics, core strength, endurance, toning, muscle building, slimming, dieting, body building, or power lifting. Whether your a meat head, a marathon runner, or the grandmother of one, Gym One has what you need, guaranteed.

Using this from a different email but my name is Terria Jones . I joined Gym 1 to train with a trainer by the name of Chris Greene . Chris Greene was referred by a friend . Myself and another lady paid Chris for two weeks of training . Mr Chris Greene texted both of us night before our session , and stated he could no longer train us . We both were told that he would be leaving our money at Gym 1 with a current employee . Three of his clients had just paid him . Chris Greene has not given us our money back, and will not return calls or text. I am posting this to make anyone currently training with him , aware of what hes done to 3 of his clients .

Went to cancel on the 7th of August and they told me I would still be charged for September. They wouldnt work with me and the owners personality changed from kiss-butt to very rude very quickly. I got the feeling that youre pretty much worthless unless you drop a lot of $$$ on personal training. I believe this is where they make their revenue, not on personal memberships. If youre looking for a nice mom and pop shop this isnt it. Keep looking... I dont have time for the drama and attitudes... Im very disappointed... :( - Former NCAA Football Player

Been working out here for 5 years. Good, solid, basic gym. Useful selection of free weights and pulley type machines. Not fancy but has all the treadmills, stair steppers and bikes you need with flat screen TVs to watch while you tread away. Not too crowded either........... They also dont have the sign you up for life sales pressure the national gyms attack you with....................................

Love this gym, Ive been going to GYM ONE for a few years now and the new location is great. Has all of the main equipment that you need for lifting along with a lot extra equipment for targeted exercises. Usually enough equipment to go around during peak times which is a big plus for me. The staff is very friendly and will help answer any questions whether you are new to a gym or been going awhile.

Great gym with great equipment and staff. The awesome Nikki Gunz trains herself and all of her personal training clients here - that speaks volumes about the gym right there. The place is very clean, almost "disinfected" feeling but I prefer that over a rusted out tetanus box. Rarely crowded and the regulars are of all ages and disciplines... good place for the casual lifter or dedicated athlete.

Great gym run by great people. The atmosphere is great, and although Ive never used one, as far as Ive seen, the trainers are great. I had every piece of equipment I needed, and way more that werent exactly something I needed but seemed useful. Never had to wait for open spots at the old location, and the new location looks even bigger. If its in your area, I fully recommend joining.

In my opinion, GymOne is one of, if not the best weightlifting gym in Austin. They carry an excellent balance of Bodybuilding/Powerlifting friendly equipment, while providing an assortment of classes and aerobic equipment to suit others needs as well. Ive been coming here for years and will continue to come as long as I live in Austin, or until they kick me out!

Accessible, Never crowded. This gym if O.K., a little pricey for the amenities, old equipment handed down from other gyms, more than likely. Probably wouldnt go there if my trainer wasnt there. However, it is convenient, fairly clean, and not full of too many grunting men at any one time.

Great staff and friendly community of members. I got 2 free weeks to make sure I was happy with the facility and equipment. Everything you could need to get fit and no shortage of trainers if you are looking to get some guidance.

If you just need the basics (free weights, machines, and cardio) then this is the place for you. Small gym, but Ive never had to wait for anything that I was wanting to use. No frills place with no contracts.

Loved this place. Sauna was a big plus. I moved and had to go to another gym, and they ended my membership without much hassle as promised. Will definitely come back here if my living situation permits it.
