We recently purchased a beautiful home in Austin,( Belvedere, to be exact,) and were highly recommended to use Sterling AV for our home automation and home security needs. We were elated by the individual client care that the Sterling AV team conveyed to our family. During our introductory meeting they reviewed the many advantages of a Control 4 multi-space system over an ordinary home theater install. We were blown away by the technology and how easy it was to use. Moving forward with Sterling AV our impression of this highly professional company was even more amplified with their constant attention to the clients technological needs as well as the aesthetics of our home. ( TV height, speaker and camera location, movie and music needs...and all done with not a single wire or bulky audio and video equipment to be shown within our living space.) And, this company still amazes us with their aftercare relationship they continue with clients to support ever changing individual client needs. New employee provided a miscalculated quote by $1500. Additionally, they failed to indicate they could not meet my budget which was clearly advised on day one. The first quote was slightly over budget but was reasonable, the second adjusted quote was where they decided to triple my budget two days prior to install. Needless to say the owner would not even give me the time of day to call me and apologize yet instead wrote an email about how they cannot, "take on the job at the miscalculated total because it would be at a loss.". - Nolan Corgill, 2016. I wouldnt have even wrote a review and just moved on to another AV company, as they were many in Austin, but the fact that the owner does not even has his phone number in his email signature, put an incorrect phone number when registering his domain name, and from as far as I can tell stay completely hidden.... I felt like it was only fair to warn others.. Dont waste your time with this company, and do not trust anything they say as it is subject to heavy change at any point. Even if its their fault, its your expense.

We recently moved into a new home and Sterling AV was recommended to us. I met w/Nolan Sterling to scope out what we needed installed (multiple flat screen TVs that needed to be mounted, surround sound, integration w/gaming system and AT&T U-Verse) and he was easily able to handle everything we required. He also was very helpful with recommendations on how to integrate our components into our entertainment centers so that the components are barely visible. Ordering everything took approximately one week and then the installation was completed in a single day. His team was friendly, professional and met all of our needs. I recommend him to all of our friends.

We have been in our new home for three years now and if and when anything needs to be addressed on our audio/video/lighting system, Nolan and his team are always there to help. Their scheduling is automated and easy to use. The whole process from planning to install was seamless. I have never seen equipment look so orderly! I am a huge fan of the all off button by our garage door and in our master bedroom that shuts every light and tv monitor off in our house! Bonus is that fact that our system has run smoothly as well! Kudos to Nolan for creating a system that works well and has longevity. Thank you!

Sterling AV does an exceptional job of listening to your needs and presenting options on cost/functionality that allow you to make a good decision. The installation work was highly professional with clean up, perfect wiring, etc... I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend. Technical knowledge is off the charts and they are always up to speed on newest innovations and products. Always punctual and they do what they say they are going to do.
