I would not recommend using this company. They have as much personality and respect for the deceased as a carrion bird. A very close friend of mine whose father has passed made the unfortunate mistake of choosing Distinctive Life Cremations to perform his fathers cremation and helping him through this process with this company has me extremely upset. I cant only watch his frustration as he tries to negotiate the process of making final arrangements with the insensitive bunch of people who work here. For me it started with picking up the ashes. We were shown to a room where we were joined by a staff member shortly. We were given refreshments. They set a gift bag on the table with the remains in a wooden box that is rotated 90 degrees in the bag such that the box of ashes is on its side. Call me sensitive, but to me it is the same as turning a coffin on its side. It was not handled with care or respect. It was my friends father in there, not some item bought at a department store. Then she rushed him through any question he had to get him to sign the document of receipt and left the room as quick as she came in. We were sitting in the room for another 5 minutes or so as he was thinking through the various pieces of information he had received. Today for me was the last straw as I listened to him in vain argue with another lady who was telling him that they were not going to supply him with 5 additional death certificates, after it was found that the first 5 he was given were erroneous. While the error on the certificates was not the fault of the Distinctive Life, they are the ones who can make the case for the 5 certificates to be reissued without cost since they were the ones that paid for it. Even if that didnt prove out, at least it would have shown that they care enough to try. If you pay for a package that is inclusive of 5 death certificates and they come to you wrong, is it unreasonable to expect the people you paid to at least attempt to make it right without charging you additional money? She spoke with authority when she told him she would not do anything for him making me think... wow. Let this woman have a taste of her actions and demeanor publicized on social media. Unfortunately he still has many hurdles to deal with concerning the death of his father and will still have to deal with Distinctive Life for weeks to come. Stay away from the people.

I lost my father recently unexpectedly. Of course I had no idea how to go about anything. Every single person we worked with was so helpful and caring and genuine. They have made this process so much easier for me by answering emails and calls promptly and keeping me up to date about everything. They have done a superb job at helping me with arrangements and answering all questions and being patient as I dealt with family and everything. I cant express my gratitude enough for them being so professional during this time. They made a beautiful video with pictures of my father and make everything so easy for you to do at a time that is so hard. Thank you all.
