Stunning facility and excellent service. My familys experience was a little over a month ago. When my mother-in-law passed we knew she would be handled by Geo. Lewis as was the same funeral home who handled my father-in-laws service, who had predeceased her. What we did not know were all the details. We were helped through the entire process by the kind professionals at Geo. Lewis. From their coming to the house and picking her up (she was on hospice care) to the choosing of everything for the service to the service itself (and afterwards) the staff were helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and considerate. I think anyone who resides in the Houston area knows the reputation of Geo. Lewis but I want to make sure everyone knows their recommendations for loved ones services are superb, up to and including items that had never even crossed our minds, like residential security while at the services, catering options to our selection, valet service at our residence the evening of our gathering. We never felt rushed or in a haste the director took his time explaining everything in great detail and the day of the service and even after during the reception the staff was very attentive to our needs and we left when we were done.

Absolutely the most stunning funeral home I have ever been in. Not being from Houston originally, I was recommended to this funeral home by our minister after the passing of my beloved wife and I could not have asked for anything more. Upon my initial contact with the funeral home everything was handled to the utmost of care and respect. Everyone at Lewis was very polished from the doorman greeting us to everyone we came in contact with. My family that came in from out of town for the services were amazed by the every detail the funeral home took care for us even as far as making hotel arrangements for them. Thank you Geo. Lewis was very polished and professional, did an excellent job serving our needs after my mother died. They had the biggest, reddest roses I have ever seen in my life in the bouquets around the casket. However, their costs were astronomical, my father was appalled when he realized what the total was really going to be. We had many costs beyond the plan package, it ended up being more than my annual income! Everyone was very kind and extremely thoughtful, just expensive. But I suppose you get what you pay for.

The funeral home itself is exquisite. However, the director was trying to rush us out after the funeral service. That did not sit well with me.
