We had used Claire Brothers only because we were informed they were very reasonable and my father did not have life insurance. They knew our money situation, quoted us one price and when we went to pay for it over the phone it was higher then what they quoted us.They had everything backwards, had no clue about where to ship the ashes, questioned the address that should of already been noted prior to any cremation arrangements -or who was picking up what. Went there to pick up a keepsake charm only and the woman was ready to walk off and let me take the ashes with me as well when they were to be shipped to my step mother, She thought I was the wife, when she had a folder stating all the information in her hand that the remains were to be shipped to the wife.. no common sense what so ever. My step mom is in Florida why would she show up in Houston to pick up the ashes when its noted they are being shipped to Florida. ?? Then no death certificate is ready was told they would mail it to me no problem was ready to walk away and leave again and she didnt even have my mailing address to begin with. After I told her again I was the daughter she said oh okay you are the wife ?? Again like I said no common sense! Here it is 3 wks since I picked up the ashes and no Death Certificate, meanwhile it was noted in their folder that they were to send a copy to me. I felt as though nothing was being taken care of the way they were supposed to unless I checked in on them and confirmed everything. Which I am glad I did because they were lost! It is sad enough to have lost a loved one and go through this but to have to feel like you need to check in with these people is ridiculous. Very unprofessional and extreme lack of communication amongst each other. To have only used them to save $150.00 in the long run, was not worth the money.

Losing a loved one sucks enough, but having two calls within a week to tell them I will be by to pick up my Mothers ashes to arrive and them not have them there, then I get to wait almost 30 minutes while I get to listen to the grief of two sweet parents giving their stillborn twins names to be buried in, here is a thought, close the door on such a personal moment. And then I got to be there for a viewing as a family cried, wailed and expressed their grief, while again I am waiting for someone to drive to the other location to get my Mom. They finally get there and then, and THAT moment I need to fill out paperwork and give a copy of my license, not while I was waiting trying not to break down myself, oh no, after they finally got her there. Keep in mind there had been 2 calls that week to confirm when I was coming to pick her up. Choose any other crematorium that wont increase your grief with ineptitiude.

Claire Brothers buried my veteran Army father-in-law on 4/4/13 at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Houston. Riley Smith directed every detail which included picking up the body at my dads home, preparing it for viewing at his church in Katy, boutanierres for the pall bearers, service program, arranging for a 21-gun salute, bag piper, flowers, professional police escort, flag presentation, death certificates, and coordinating with the VA Cemetery. Everything was well orchestrated and very reasonably priced. They will be burying my mother-in-law this week at Veterans Memorial, where she will be joining her husband. Thank you Claire Brothers for providing thoughtful and excellence in what you do to serve others.

Good service - as with any funeral home, it is all about the director that is assigned to you. I happened to work with three different directors since we contacted the funeral home early (my mother-in-law had a terminal illness). All three were professional and courteous. If you want to have a basic all-inclusive package they cannot be beat in terms of value and service. They made the whole process very easy. In our case, we chose to have a service at our church - I cannot say enough about how well everything went for the service. Thanks Claire Brothers!

This outfit consists of the most vile disrespectful unprofessional inhuman people... Jasmine and Riley Smith every December I am reminded of the heartless careless and disgusting way my young son was treated. My sons final resting place and the experience my family endured will be a nightmare we must ensure forever. The loss Ive a son is horrible. The foul way Riley Smith handles a familys last memory of their son is plain dispicible. Every December Mr Smith ...I will remember how you slaughtered my sons body and our memory of him.

Took $3,500 from insurance policy for a grave marker that still to this day more than a year later has not been placed. Made several calls and complaints. No one ever called back to obtain information for a marker. I have requested that the money be returned to myself since I am beneficiary and was told they could not return money paid to them from my mothers policy. I do not want thier service I want the money back I can order the marker from a responsible carien company, THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES

We really appreciated everything that you all up until it was time to pick up my grand daughters ashes. Her urn was dropped off right after arrangement was made and still when we came in to pick her up her ashes was in a plastic bag inside of a white box. It was really a slap on the face to my daughter amd it was extremely hurtful. That was the worst experience along with other things that happen...thanks but no thanks we will not return.

Worst outfit in the universe. Riley Smith allowed a sick criminal to abuse my sons remains. Riley Smith falsified my sons death certificate. Riley Smith should not be allowed to go near grieving families or their loved ones. He and this business are venomous vile snakes who have more concern for Satan than the poor lost loved ones who have been placed in their care. They should not be in business.

Very professional and economical. When my grandmother passed away on Thanksgiving Day 2015, Claire Brothers Funeral Home was responsive and arrangements were made that same day. Riley Smith & Scott Thomas are very considerate men that have served my family several times upon the passing of a loved one. I would refer anyone who needs their services to Claire Brothers Funeral Home.

I was referred to Claire Brothers by a longtime friend in the business. I have used them twice, once for each parent. I found them to be professional, courteous and attentive to details. No one wants to lose a loved one, but Riley Smith and Claire Brothers were just right for what we needed. I highly recommend them to my friends.
