I am a licensed funeral director from NYC. I came across an article written about the funeral home a few years ago online. After reading the article and visiting the website I am in complete awe. The facility is a physical refelection of the detailed service and attention that a family would receive. No man would invest so much energy, passion, money and their life into a "building" if they did not have an ultimate purpose to what they were trying to do. Without being in the home physically or witnessing a funeral being carried out I can say this is a five star facility. I have written three or four google reviews in my life. I was so impressed as a Funeral Director that I want the public to know Bradshaw - Carter or a Dignity Memorial Provider, there is NO comparison. Human beings that invested their life savings into serving the community at their ultimate time of need or employees collecting a pay check working for corporate concern, what more needs to be said? Its unfortunate that a funeral/funeral home/funeral service is an aspect that is not on the forefront of Ones mind or point of conversation until we require its purpose of existence. To sum it all up for the layman, going to Dignity Memorial is like going to McDonalds when your starving, Bradshaw - Carter is being starving and walking into grandmas house for your favorite home cooked meal...... To Trip Carter if I ever make my way down to Houston I would love to meet you. I wish I had the honor of meeting Ron in life. What a visionary, talented and impressive human being he must of been. The photo of his layout I was convinced was fake when I stumbled upon the article and that it was for artistic purposes. The public may not know but this professional does. Kudos to you gentleman providing the unique, awe inspiring dream I could only wish to be a part of. May Bradshaw Carter serve as an eternal monument to Ron Bradshaw. Requiem In Pace.

Bradshaw-Carter is nothing short of a blessing. My wife and I are so thankful that the owner has made such a beautiful place to lay our Daughter to rest. Our daughter was here for a very short amount of time and we had no idea what to do. Not only did they take care of everything regarding the arrangements with the hospital to the memorial service but they had a way of showing respect to her that I didnt realize a person could show to another person without knowing them. The owner handled our infant childs death with more dignity and respect than I thought humanly possible. The fact that this place is beautiful in every respect goes to show how much the ownership cares about the service they provide to the community. If there was a way to give more stars I would do it in a heart beat. I live in the Oak Forest neighborhood and my first instinct was to call the closest funeral home to our house which is Pat H. Foley & Company. As it turns out they are owned by Dignity Memorial and that company is owned by Service Corporation international. I was bounced around several times over the course of 24 hours and had the social workers at the hospital ask me why my daughter had not been picked up a day after she passed away. While being pushed from call center to call center Katie Dunkel, whos title is Funeral Director, was kind enough (intense sarcasm) to send me a fee schedule which was 10 times the amount of Bradshaw-Carter. This place has nothing to do with respecting the deceased but is set up to take your money and get you out of the way for the next grieving family that can pay their bloated fees. This company and the people they work there are horrible and dont deserve the money that people give them.
