I went here after a friend recommended it and got probably one of the worst haircuts Ive ever had. For some background my hair prior was what is best described as an overly poofy combover. The gentleman who helped me asked me what I was looking for and I replied a trim. I also told him that I had an important event in two weeks that I needed to look good for. He proceeded to give me a full zero fade with a "trim" to the top. Forget the fact that I was just looking for a trim but he didnt even fade it properly! The best way to describe the haircut I got would be a shaved head with a long and messy pile of hair at the top. Realizing it was a lost cause I asked the manager for a refund but he insisted that I allow him to fix it. The fixed result: a shaved head with a shorter and neater pile of hair at the top. When I followed up with my refund request the manager proceeded to get hostile and stated that he would not refund me because he "fixed" it. I stated that everyone who had seen my hair had told me it was terrible and would lead to him getting bad publicity. He responded emphatically that he didnt care. At this point, the manager probably realizing how horrible he was coming across in front of his other customers started to proclaim loudly that he cares about everyone of his clients. He insisted that my hair would look "just fine" in one week and if I was not pleased he would refund me then. Refund or not I wont be coming back.

Awful. They will add prices while you are there for one hair treatment and wont tell u upfront. Another time I went in for a price check and a man helping me was ignoring me when someone came in and he didnt care to finish attending to me. He didnt even say one minute while I deal with this person. He couldnt do anything for me and when I left and called back to check the price again. I was told a different amount. First, in person he told me $100. Second time, I called a person told me $110-140 for highlights plus $80 for the root touch up hair dye . Hair world in Dallas, tx did my hair for a total of $120 and I tipped $18. A total of $138 I spent on my hair and it looks awesome. This is the second time I went to do my hair with highlights. Both times they did awesome!

There is an old fat woman. Im not being mean--- she is literally the WORST barber ever. I said TRIM a little bit, no more than an inch, and she gave me the shortest hair---- short on every part except a shittiest bang. She cut my hair so fast like she knew what she was doin i didnt even have the time to stop her. She didnt understand anything u said. She knows english BUT she just doesnt understand and her skill SUCKS. WORST haircut and WORST service ever. Spilled water everywhere when washing ur hair. Draggin my hair. Cuttin my hair when its still wet---- i know some barbers do that but when u suck u shouldnt be doin that! u dont even know what hairstyle the guy has. Just do not go to her if u dont want another month of nightmare.

first of all .. this rating is for the young male hair stylist "jack" from new York. (my familys been coming to this salon for quite a while & weve been satisfied with other employees.) today .. we made an appointment for haircut at 12:00. we arrived at 11:45. they washed my sons hair & had him seated in the chair and wait...wait...wait.. (no apologies..no explanations..) finally (after waiting 30 min. ) at 12:20, i asked another stylist to cut his hair. no apologies from the stylist we booked an appointment with! do not come here expecting service & quality from anyone else but the owner. my advice : dont book an appointment with the young guy from new york.

I made an appointment for 1:00 on a weekday, got there early by 20 minutes, and was not seen until 1:50! My haircut was okay, but not great. On another occasion, I made an appointment for a specific stylist for my son. Again, we got there early by 30 minutes and was told that a different stylist will cut my sons hair because the stylist we had the appointment for would not be available until 3.5 hours later. WTH!! We will not be returning to this place!

I got the Japanese hair straightening done here about a year ago for $300 which is considerably way cheaper than other places based on hair and honestly loved it. It didnt damage my hair and left it pin straight. My hairstylist was really nice as well. Communication is a bit slower due to small language barrier but their English is still understandable. I will be going back this week to get treatment done again :)

I love this place, its kind of expensive about $25 for a mens haircut but service is exceptional, I have Monica as my hairdresser and she is nothing short of lovely. Obviously if your Korean youd have an easier means of navigating the process since everyone there is native Korean but as a non Korean everyone is gracious and understanding.

Theyre good at what they do and honest with their recommendations. I wanted to try a new style and the hair-stylist told me with my frame, it wouldnt come out how I picture it and recommended something else. I loved her recommendation better.
