This hair salon actually deserves no stars but that wasnt option. I went in there wanting a shampoo, blow dry and straighten at 4:30 ... Got in and the lady was telling me I needed adeep conditioning so I agree. I get the deep condition and sit under the dryer for about an an hour. Once thats was done, I get the condition rinsed out and they started blow drying my hair and straightening it. My hair is naturally curly and comes down to my shoulders ... Well it did. Anyways , they were taking entirely way to long when it shouldve taken about an hour when it took them about 3 hours. Once they were done straightening it, they had to cut off about an inch because I also wanted that. They asked me if I wanted it cut in layers and I said yes because I had them. Clearly I shouldve said no because they dont know how to cut properly. Then Candance , the lady that colors hair , starting cutting more of my hair saying she was "blending the color" since I have a balayage. She was not taking my naturally curly hair into consideration because now my hair is thin and sooo much shorter than it used it be. Im very upset because I have been growing my hair out now for 3 years and she messed it all up. I would not recommend going to this hair salon unless you are very desperate. Also the white hair stylists , janea or whatever kept going on and on about how she loves mixed hair and that she wished she had mixed hair . It was very inappropriate considering Im only 14. All hair is good hair. Im very disappointed and still very upset a week later and there really is no way to fix this so thanks Fantastic Sams even though you arent any where close to being fantastic and suck.

THIS place is the only place Ive ever been happy with my haircut. Jazmin (?) Gave me my first haircut there. I had shampoo and blow-dry with her. I got compliments for days. The second time was with Candice (Charlotte?. . .?) I went to get my haircut fixed after Floyds Fed my hair up.it was so perfect I had people ask me if it was a wig for a long time. Peopled kept insisting in touching and playing with my hair. Third time I went for shampoo and Styling and I was happy with the end result. I have been to this location multiple times and only have I had one bad experience but it was mostly because the person was a bit new there and I could tell she seemed out of place but I gave her a chance. I like confidence in a hairdresser. I hate going to places where they want ME to tell them how to do their job. Im not giving them a 5 star because they need to get better about greeting the customers and making them know their business is appreciated. Again, mostly from the one new person. Im visiting there soon. Who knows what happens to that 4? :)

Ive never had an issue with this location. The owner of the store works very hard to keep quality over quantity when it comes to his employees and how his customers are treated. A review in here by Jamie labels this person as incredibly rude, but in fact the owner had to fire all of his employees because of issues that arose and he was cutting hair with the door locked because it was appointments only. It was only him, and he was trying his hardest to keep his business floating. The man works very hard and would rather have no employees than have bad employees and that tells me a lot about his character. I have always and will continue to loyally go do this location.

I have been going to this hair salon for nearly 6 months now and I usually get my hair done by Daura but she is out all summer so I decided to get it done by someone else. I didnt even get my hairstylists name and to be honest its not even worth knowing. She DID NOT know how to cut hair. I asked for shoulder length with long layers and she gave me neck length and short layers. She had no grace and every movement and cut she made was jerky and rough. I paid $23.00 to get my hair done by a child. Never again will I come back here and to anyone wanting to get their hair done right, I DO NOT recommend this place.

I came by this store after work today because I have always had good experiences with Fantastic Same. I came during hours posted at the website and on the door and the door was locked so I called and an incredibly rude person answered the phone who stated he is the Regional Director but then told me all the stores are franchises. Made no sense. Then he goes on to tell me the door is locked due to staffing issues and he is doing someones hair. His rude demeanor tells me why he cant keep staff. Dont waste the trip over there. AVOID.

I went in for a haircut and one of the two ladies appeared to be available but told me someone would be right with me. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe her shift was over. But then she started sweeping and her coworker asked why she wasnt helping me. I didnt hear her response but they started arguing, so I left. I usually go to the location on Little Elm Pkwy which is wonderful, and Ill only go there from now on. Oh, and I always overtip, so lady with the purple streak and attitude totally missed out.

I just went in today to get a trim. I was greeted immediately with professionalism and a smile. All of the staff were very pleasant, and the clients in their chairs were interacting as well. Its so nice to walk into a clean, fun salon. I saw Ashleigh for my trim, and shes amazing! If youre looking for a spectacular deal, good product selection and a nice salon experience in the Frisco area, check out Fantastic Sams. Definitely worth it!
