This salon sells Aveda products, but all products are final sale. This is not posted anywhere in the salon, nor was it ever mentioned to me. I would never have purchased over $100 worth of products that Id never tried before if I had known. The receptionist, Linda, was VERY rude when I attempted to return a product. She informed me that they will make an exception to allow an exchange for services only. After I had a fit and made her call the manager, Jasmine (who refused to talk to me directly, btw), I was allowed to trade for different products. Linda acted like she was doing me a huge favor by allowing me to select replacement products. She copped attitudes, rolled her eyes, and raised her voice. Terrible customer service! The only thing that saved my sanity was that one of the stylists, who goes by "Q", came out to the retail portion of the salon and chatted with me, very kindly helping me find replacement products. If this is the way management treats retail customers, there is no way Id trust them to style my hair.

I couldnt be more pleased with my experience at Aveda. I was greeted very kindly while walking by and informed about a sale they were having that day. I was very happy to hear about their natural products as that is very important to me. I had been strongly considering coloring my hair auburn but was a bit anxious about the big change. Q was my stylist and was absolutely amazing!! She took her time and worked very hard to get my desired color and totally nailed it!! She made me feel comfortable and was very friendly. I would say her customer service is exceptional!! And I love my hair!! Im getting many compliments how natural it looks which was so important for me. The whole front desk staff were extremely polite. The other stylists were very friendly as well. It was a wonderful experience. I bought products to ensure lasting color. I love them! I cant understand why anyone would return them! I give Aveda Lakeline and Q the highest recommendation.

The stylist with purple hair (was the only one in the store and she refused to give me her name) was unprofessional and dismissive. When we first came in she said its be about 30 mins. Came back and was told 10 more mins. Came back a third time and she said 5pm, another 20 mins. When I came back at 5 she was chatting with the parents of her client , talking about an upcoming trip, how pretty the girls hair turned, upcoming appointments all the while not making eye contact with me, or even acknowledging I was waiting. After 15 more minutes of this I got up to leave to hear her very snarky "sorry maam" followed by laughter. Im horrified at this terrible customer service, the way she was fawning over the obviously affluent family, while ignoring me, a Puerto Rican woman with my daughter, was distasteful and beyond rude. I will be sure to tell my friends to avoid this salon at all costs.
