You can see my first review of this place below but they have improved and deserve a revision - we joined ASI again and my now 6 year old has been to two classes, the teacher seems better this time. She is much more involved and never stops attending to the kids and teaching them. We had our daughters 6th Birthday party here as well because she requested it because of the trampolines and ball pits - the party was a smashing success and the two coaches we awesome.....there were one guy and one girl and the guys name was Ryan (i hope Im getting that right) and he was absolutely amazing with the kids, (we had 22 so it was a job) he was funny, exciting and organized - the kids had plenty to do and finally this time we had some music.....so the coaches you get really make a difference - overall we enjoyed it, the kids enjoyed it and we will use ASI again and keep our fingers crossed This place is a waste of time and money, even though its relatively cheap. We had our 3 year old daughter going here and in the class she took they did the same thing for 3 months, the same exact little thing for an hour, every week --- and its not as though they were learning a lot running around in a circle and making a basket with a kids basketball goal --- also the teacher sat down on the floor for the entire class, just lazy -- we changed gyms but had already made the deal to have my daughters 4th birthday party here -- which was a mistake because we should have known that would suck as well -- its advertised as though you are getting the entire place and while thats technically true when we walked in there were sign in sheets for two parties and the other party was on the floor in the large part of the gym, they finished up as our time began and went to one of the party rooms which is connected to our party room, so the parents of the kids hanging out and dropping off presents are listening to the other party kids ---- weve previously rented The Little Gym and you get the entire place, no other parties until you are out --- also while we didnt know it at the time The Little Gym must really clean well because it never smelled like body odor which ASI does, the entire place stinks, which makes me wonder when was the last time they really cleaned everything ----- it was a bit warm which is no fun for the kids or the parents, also there was no music--- none - a quiet friggin party, while there was always music playing during the regular classes ---- the kids that work there have zero enthusiasm as they must be paid minimum wage because their attitudes are on par with disgruntled fast food workers -- they never got the kids pumped up for a party and were only telling the kids what they couldnt do instead of engaging them to the point where they would only want to do the activity --- while we were opening presents one of my daughters friends walked up to see what presents my daughter was opening and the employee girl told her to go sit down to which the little girl replied I just want to see what she got and then the employee girl told her to go sit down and get out of the way.....now come on, its a party and theyre opening presents and this really pissed me off -- there was no reason to be rude or an ass when when the kid wasnt doing anything, i have no problem getting onto a child thats misbehaving but this was not called for --- so there ya go, thats our experience with ASI Stinks Not Cool During Summer Employees have Zero Enthusiasm Not Exactly a Private Party as Advertised Spend Your Money on A Clown or a Big Pile of Dirt, either way its money better spent

We have been regularly attending ASI for 3 years with our oldest daughter and several months with our youngest. Pros: 1. Its cheaper compared to the other Gymnastic facilities around town. 2. The coaches during the week are older and more involved with the kids. Cons: 1. Be ready for them to constantly play with your billing rate. They will try to pull you in with some low rate and then sneak the price up on you and constantly try to add to your rate here and there. 2. Weekend coaches are mostly teenagers, and some are better than others as far as being involved with the kids. 3. A lot of coach turnover. The managements theres response is "people dont want to do this job", which probably means we pay our coaches like crap. So, dont get used to a coach, because they probably wont be there for long. In 3 years weve been through probably close to 10 different coaches. 4. Their non-competitive classes is more like recess and and circuit exercise training and not much actually dealing with Gymnastics and fundamentals. We know this because weve also went to Flips and other facilities and they focus more on the fundamentals of Gymnastics. 5. Got a problem with a coach, another kid, or the facility, dont bother wasting your time with management. As others have stated, they will probably never call you back and if they do you can bet the person you talk to is going to be defensive and tell you if you dont like it then leave. Which yes, their "management" has literally said that even on the most civil of conversations with them. Why have we dealt with the abuse? Well, its close to the house and my daughter has built many friendships there. So, weve just dealt with it. If youre looking at enrolling your student into Gymnastics and actually want them to learn it, then spend the extra money to go to Flips or somewhere else. If you just want your kid to socialize and get some activity time, then go for it, but just know what youre getting into.

I love ASI! I am currently in Power Tumbling Silver and was previously in Girls Gold (the only reason I switched was because I wanted to do more tumbling and didnt really want to do bars or beam). Ive had at least 7 coaches (including substitutes), and Ive become friends with most of them. The coaches are so nice! This gym is definitely oriented towards having fun, but all classes learn a lot. The gym is always cool and clean, and the coaches try to make sure that music is playing most of the time to make classes more exciting. The coaches are very helpful and genuinely want you to improve. My current coach, Coach Holland, has helped me improve a lot on my roundoff, and I almost have my back handspring. Tumbling is definitely the best part of my week, which isnt something Ive encountered a lot with previous gyms. Open gym is especially fun, as the coaches really try to make it exciting.

Oriented for people around 5-14 years of age, Im 16 and I should be working for this place instead of still being a student, I feel kind of awkward will all the parents of the little ones looking at me as I tumble around. Besides that, I feel like your kid will only improve if they try to improve and if they push themselves to get better, coaches are pretty experienced and knowledgeable in what they do. They do their part, your kid will only improve if they try to, a few years back I wouldnt try to get any better at anything, I would be there because my parents signed me up, now being older I realize I am not going to get far with little effort. Power tumbling and Parkour are pretty fun, but I wouldnt be where I am at now, if my coaches didnt tell me to get back up when I fell or layed down to rest.
