The service in the office is terrible. If you dont know the employees on a personal level, they act positively disdainful. I watched an employee give me full on "stank eye" because I needed to ship a box internationally and I wasnt sure which customs form I needed, so I asked about it. (I dared to ask a question, I guess?) but in a blink of an eye he was fine, and gave the guy behind me in line a "hey how ya doin?" And a fist bump/side hug...then went right back to scowling at me. It was borderline uncomfortable. What did I do to you, man? Isnt this whole answering questions/helping people at the post office gig kind of your job? Sorry I interrupted your "bro time" but I needed to mail a package, I had a question, & this IS the post office, so...??? God absolutely help you if you miss a package that needs to be signed for and you have to go in to pick it up - waiting in line at the parcel window makes me wonder if I have secretly died and have ended up in hell. I am not sure it is possible for any employee to care any less than these people do. The employee with the Santa facial hair & grey pony tail that works that area is an especially cruel joke for me. No one that looks like Santa should hate their job and/or providing customer service THAT much. I worry that children are going to experience that line and wonder why Santa hates them so much. I once went to pick up a package there...waited 20 minutes to get to the window, they took my ID to locate the package, and I waited another 15 minutes, then they came back to tell me they couldnt find the package... OK, can I have my ID?...Oh....of course...they misplaced my ID while looking for the package... Another 40 minute wait for them to locate my missing drivers license. Seriously? I promise Ill stop calling the guy Santa if he would just stop acting like a sense of urgency & giving a rats behind is an impossibility. The delivery carriers are no better - they are just...well, horrifying. I ended up calling the post master general at this location because my security cameras caught my carrier doing a running jump shot to "ally-oop" my USPS packages over my seven foot front gate. Eight feet in the air, medium velocity only to slam into hard concrete. I appreciate the aspirations to play for the WNBA, but practice on your own time & not with my packages, please?! I sent the video in question over to the PMG - well see if that makes a difference in the delivery service quality, but it could end up just getting me even worse service, so who knows. If I end up murdered, the USPS carrier probably did it, and more than likely Ill end up in a place that very much resembles the parcel pick up line at the Cypress, TX post office as a result of this rant. At least then they cant lose my ID a second time because you dont need a TX DL when youre in hell, right? ;P

I moved out of my house 1 year ago and made a change of address for family, this way my wifes mail would transfer as well. Every thing was fine then in about 3 weeks i noticed i was no longer getting my mail. I went to the post office in katy texas as this was my new post office and they said i had to go to the cypress post office. So i went to the cypress post office and i was told to do a change of address so i did a family change of address again. this time i started getting my mail and some other persons mail with the same last name as me but with a different first name. i did not think much about it and keep sending there mail back to post office. then about 3 weeks in i stopped getting my mail. so i went to cypress post office and they said for me to do an individual change of address. that some one with the same last name as me moved in to my old house and when they did there change of address it cancel mine as the post office thought we were the same. So i started getting my mail and there mail again. this time i reached out to the people in my old house and we went to post office at same time and they made all of us do i change of address and we did.it has now been 6 months that i have not got my mail. the reason is the people in my old house has done a forward order of all mail from my new address forward to them. The cypress post office refuses to fix this mess. I have done every thing i can. i have even started using my office address and still dont get my mail. My wife drivers license has been expired for all most 8 months because the paper one gos out and she never gets her new hard license. and i have been looking for my chl for all most 3 months. I have called and went to the cypress post office every single day for 2 months trying to talk to the post master. all i get told is he works till noon so i call before noon and get told he works after noon so i drive up there and get told he is gone for the day. some one help me. 2 no license tickets for my wife (got throne out but still lost days pay for court both times) had cable cut off 4 times, electric 2 times all becouse we cant get our mail

Ordered a package from Beijing China and it makes it all the way to Cypress Texas , then shows its out for delivery . Moved, Left no Address 2016-04-21, 16:47:00, CYPRESS, TX 77429 Out for Delivery 2016-04-11, 12:09:00, CYPRESS, TX 77433 Sorting Complete 2016-04-11, 11:59:00, CYPRESS, TX 77433 Arrived at Unit 2016-04-11, 07:49:00, CYPRESS, TX 77429 It "originally" showed unable to update later that day. Called the post office and was shuffled around until I finally was able to talk to the postmaster "Debbie".. Seems as if the carrier dropped it off at a street with a similar name , because it had a smudged address. Postmaster Debbie told me that she would contact the carrier and retrieve the package. Ive waited , called 3 additional times and tried to chase down the carrier . Even went as far to go knock on the "similar sounding street and addresses house" but no answer. Yesterday the tracking updated @ 4:47pm , to say it was "moved / left no address".. Following day I called the post office trying to intercept the package at 9:30 am and was put on hold , talked to 3 different people and told it was on its way back to the sender , in Beijing China. Once I voiced my disbelief I was told they would try to have "consumer affairs " intercept the package but were making no promises. 6 days for a package to come from China "Okay" .. 10 days lost in Cypress Texas postal system "Not Okay".. 1 day for the Cypress Post office to "give up" and ship it back to China "Just f*********g believable".

I have been having problem with my mail since moving to this new address which places me at the hands of this local post office. First it was my mail status was being reported as "delivered" when I track it but it was never delivered. Once I called to question why I did not get a package they marked as delievered, I was told the postman stall had it in his truck....(Really?!?). So the package was then delivered 2 days later than the date that was in their electronic tracking system. Then most recently all my mail was sent back to sender and was not being delivered to my mailbox. Once I realized this I went in person to figure out what was going on. I was told "You dont check my mailbox so your mail was being sent back to sender." The last time I check my mail was within the week but instead of giving me a notification or anything because I did not check my mail in 1 week my mail was sent back. However when I called the main customer service number I was told the mail is not held back from being delivered unless it has been 3 or more weeks. So how did my mail get held and sent back to all the senders??? I am not sure. The only answer I have is horrible service because people are lazy they dont want to do their job and deliver the mail.
