I want to give this place 3 stars, but i cant. It is so convenient. However, the place needs an overhaul. This is without a doubt the dirtiest 24 Hour Fitness that i have ever been too. Issues: - Showers are disgusting, there are bugs all over the walls - one of the mens urinals was broken for a couple of months - the water fountain in the weight area is still broken. It has been broken for months. - i dont believe i have ever seen all the treadmills working at one time, sometimes at least half of them are broken - the chest fly machine, there are two and they are back to back - one of them was broken for at least 3 months - no one wipes down the equipment especially people who have sweated all over the cardio machines - the staff needs top hold these people accountable - its pretty gross - something needs to be done - at some 24 Hour clubs you cant workout unless you have brought a towel with you. Good things: - it is extremely convenient - i have had good experiences with the staff - people complain about the weights and how they look, it doesnt matter how they look, your biceps cant tell the difference i hope they get it together here - cleanliness is by far the thing that needs to be addressed first

I live less than a mile away from here and drive five miles to another gym which costs more because this place needs some serious updating. The location is unbelievably perfect, right in the heart of the Village in Addison and Far North Dallas. It literally steps away to restaurants, bars, apartments and businesses. The prices arent bad, and the specials are good. But the equipment and facility is awful, poorly maintained and unappealing. If they remodeled the place, put some new equipment in here, as well as staff and trainers that care and make an effort to keep the place spotless and intriguing this would be THE gym in North Dallas to belong to.

I work right down the street from this gym and never go here anymore. My main beef is the same as everyone elses. Dirty and old. And the steam room is ALWAYS broken. Went in one day and asked them if it was working. They said yes, but when I went in and sat for ten minutes there was no steam and the room was room temperature. The ONLY redeeming quality about this gym is that you can at least get in a decent workout. But thats it. I would rather go the 24 hour Fitness on Marsh and Trinity near GB Turnpike or downtown. The equipment is about the same, but they are cleaner, bigger, better managed and the spacing of equipment is much better.

Frustrating experience with the newly renovated facility! On going issues with the hot tub..they can never seem to fix it. It goes down every three days. sometimes the temp. is not set correct. Very disappointing service for members as we pay our dues we expect the facility to be up to par. Invest in fixing the issue because members are not very happy as we try to recommend the facility after the renovation. A part that may seem small but makes a difference from going to other gyms. In addition, the staff seem clueless when things are not working and poor job in communicating with the members on the progress if something is not working.

Bad gym, i would no recommend it, the trainers are rude, the gyms lighting makes it look like a hospital, awful customer service inside, dirty yoga mats, its messy and there is never paper towels, i could have overlooked all of that if the staff would have been a little friendlier, i have a trainer told me to MOVE out of his way, and another looked at me like i was crazy when i asked him a question, im not looking to get my butt kissed, but i work in the service industry also and that is not the way to treat people. I will not be coming back, and i already cancelled my account.

The equipment is worn out, the place always smells bad and its dirty. The customers/patrons are trashy and rude. They make comments to you about how much weight youre lifting. The place feels like a prison rec yard. Seriously, I feel nervous like I have to watch my back in there. And if you want to cancel, they make you pay the entire year in full. There is ONE squat rack that is ALWAYS occupied. Id rather go to the YMCA in Pleasant Grove than work out here. UPDATE 3/30/16: Spoke with corporate and a manager at the location, and they offered ZERO solutions!

I come to this location as it is the closest to my home. That is the only real positive. Typically 5-6 cardio machines are offline or displaying error codes. The ones that are working have pieces literally falling off of them. The weight area is too small and is not maintained well. It is not uncommon to find the large cable machine having sections out of order as well. I typically avoid the bathrooms because of their poor conditions. I am very happy to be moving closer to the one in Lewisville and The Colony.

Great place to get an awesome workout during my lunch break. Lorraine in Body Pump will push you to your limits and yoga with Linda is always challenging. With all the stress that I deal with at my office, this is a welcome change of pace that my body and mind appreciates daily. I go for the classes and as long as they retain wonderful instructors such as Lorraine and Linda, I will continue to come back. I have lost about 50lbs in 3 months, and much of my success is credited to them.

For $15 a month its hard to beat, 24/7 access, pool, gym, sauna/steam room and a basketball court & access to free cardio classes. Im not complaining. I think a lot of the people on here expect it to be like an upper class health club because were in the heart of the DFW metroplex and theres a lot of $ floating around here. I love this gym and will continue going to it until I decide to start paying 5-6 times more a month for Lifetime fitness or whatever.

I just moved in to the area and this gym is just about 3 minutes away from my new home, so I was excited to go and see this place and change my previous gym for this one instead (I love my current gym, LAFit, but this one was now so close!) Customer service could be improved in several ways, and the equipment distribution just does not feel right, this place has a great location, but needs desperately some main changes. Lisa

Dirty, smelly, disorganized, machines are crowded together, no space, hot, poor air circulation, low ceilings, only one squat rack, no decent pull up bars, and uninviting front desk employees. Incredibly disappointed. As a person whos been lifting for over 10 years, I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone. If youre looking for a gym in the area, try Youfit off the tollway and Trinity mills. It is everything this gym isnt.

I first started coming here because my friend Mac told me that there were a lot of show tees at this gym. Since he knew my love for show tunes and Broadway shows, I thought it was odd that a gym would carry show t-shirts. When I got here, I somehow ended up with a 2 yr membership, a towel, and show tees! The front desk clerk said he might have meant shortys. What the hell is that?!
