Went the first day and didnt gt work, BUT I went again the second day and got called out for a job. Pay is descent, and the work is not too heavy but most jobs are outside so it can get tough at certain tims ofthe day when the suns out in summer time, take lots of water, cold water with ice!!.the employees at the front desk are all very nice, and try their best to get you onto a job that day, they treat everybody equally and with respect, theyre all very kind and they work hard to find you a job, they work miracles and they helped me make money to pay bills when I really needed it and got paid the same day By a check. They open at 530am mon-fri and 6am Saturday, closed sunday. If you get called for a job youd leave at about 630 am, if you go early and are one of the first to sign in it may increase your chances of getting a job. They deduct $5 for your ride to he job site, they give you all the equipment you need, you get a break at 9am for 15 minutes and another break at 12 noon for 30 min. Most jobs are 8 hours long, and pay about $9 per hour, so youl probably get off at 330pm in the afternoon. They pay the same day , unless you work Saturday in which case you might get paid the following monday with a check the week after. I its your first time there Make sure you have your id, and social security card, or at least one form of id and at least know what your social security card number is so if your new you must fill out an application your first day working there. TAKE WORK BOOTS, STEEL TOE BOOTS PREFFERED, AND TRY NOT TO BRING RUBBER RAIN OR CEMENT CONCRETE BOOTS, you need something sturdy in case u step on a nail or something sharp at a work site which is usually construction.You might get sent to a job in the morning even if u havent filled out an application, but whe you come back to the office after the job is done then you must fill out the application for sure. If you lose equipment (hard hat, broom, work vest, flat shovel) you will be charged for it and the cost of the item will be deducted from your check automatically.it gets really full in th mornings really fast so get there early, but the employees at the office try their best to get you onto a job. It seems like they are backgrounf friendly too but im not %100 sure, just go and try it out. but if your looking to work just make sure you show up early and are ready to work, some jobs take more than one day so if you get a job that requires that you come back the following day its called a repeat and make sure you dont miss, you have to come back the next day. If your looking for work this is the place to find it, its not always guaranteed so if u dont get work one day just come back the next day and you most likely will get work. Make sure you take work boots! Bring your own lunch, and take plenty of food and water, lots of cold cold water and ice especially if you working outside.
