Regal Staffing contacted me for an interview for an “open” warehouse position on Friday July 10th. Because the interview went very well I was asked to immediately have the physical and the drug screening done. The results were in the same day and I was asked to return back to Regal Staffing. Per the representative at Regal Staffing my application was accepted and I given a start date of Monday July 20th and start time of 6 am. However, I was also told by the representative they were going to contact the client (employer) and confirm the start date and time and she would be calling me later in the week. I had not heard back from Regal Staffing so I called them on Friday July 17th for an update. The manager Tammy stated they had forgotten to call and inform me that the client was not going to hire anyone until they’d gotten an approval from corporate. Regal Staffing needs to collect accurate information before they give out start date and times to potential candidates. It appears Regal Staffing does not have an issue giving false information to candidates seeking employment assistance.
