Great classes, great vibe, excellent staff and trainers. Been going there for 8 years now. Equipment (spin bikes, machines, cardio...) very dated and the staff does a good job of fixing them when they break; but the "band-aid" approach isnt always the best option and they could use a facelift. Also, the womens locker room has had a leaky faucet, tipsy commode for a while and well, its just looking a little run down. I dont like posh/spa-like environment and prefer this style of family style/basic gym; but I do expect a clean, well maintained locker room with somewhat (not necessarily brand new) equipment.

Good gym. Its not a health club, meaning if u want to stand around and drink a smoothie talking about getting into shape then its not for you. Very friendly staff will always greet u with a smile. Prices are fair equipment is clean and working. They are proud of the place and it shows from the free clean towels, staff racking weights, to the way they treat the kIds. I have worked Out in all types of gyms but brick house is a very good fit between a hardcore gym and a health club.

I am not a member at this gym...YET...only reason I because I still have a contract through someone else. I went to this gym with a co-worker who has a membership and this place is freaking awesome. It has a mom-&-pop feel, yet modern. The staff is great and a great variety of equipment. And nowhere is Denton can you get view from the massive window wall than here at Brickhouse Gym. I cant wait to become a member here in a couple of months.

The equipment is so out old that Arnold most likely used it. All of the seats move and arent steady on the machines. The staff is on their phone the entire time. Dont even greet you at the door. The only good part about this gym is that its cheap and now I understand why its so cheap. This gym is terrible. As soon a my month of membership is up Im moving to another gym. (Ive only worked out here for a month.)

Ive worked out here for at least 10 years. The trainers have always been friendly and have been supportive of all my fitness goals--whether its been weight loss, sailing, distance running, climbing mountains, or any other activity. With the lake right outside the door, its the perfect place to get in some exercise--even if you do have to wait for the resident flock of geese to cross your path on occasion! :)

Top notch gym. Great, knowledgeable staff and a clean, organized environment for both men and women. A scenic view with a 3/4 mile running trail around the small lake is right out back. Guest passes are cheaper than competitors in the area. A great experience!

If you want to workout at a gym where people are there to get in shape and workout, this is your place. One of the best things about this gym is that is run by the owner and they are great to work with. The view overlooking Unicorn Lake is great too!

Terrible hours and run down equipment. I left due to the ridiculous number off teenage boys who appear to just waltz inwith out a membership then have no clue how to properly lift. Good points are it is easy to cancel and it is affordable.

Great gym feel. Plenty of equipment and ease of signing up or canceling (though you wont want to!) Always fresh clean towels and kept very clean. You can also pick any trainer there and theyll get the job done!

A place to workout. Not for everyone but I like it because its never TOO busy but theres usually always someone working out so you dont feel crowded or alone. Rates are some of the best in Denton too.
