Management sends staff to move paying patrons from machines if they deem that they are using the machine for too long. Ralph (club manager) is the man who sent a female employee to tell another female what to do. This was my experience while working out using a laying leg curl machine in the empty 30 minute workout zone. Granted, I can read and know how to use the 30 minute workout area, but since there was no one else around I did not see a problem. There was a storm that evening, gym was not packed like it usually is around 8pm but the other 6 leg machines were occupied. I suppose it was leg day for every one that evening. Apperantly this happens often because as she (the female employee) stopped me mid workout, she said "I hate when he makes me tell people to move". I was upset so I left the facily. Way to make me feel uncomfortable in a "judgement free zone". Thanks for watching me, thanks for counting my reps or the cycles I went through, thanks for monitoring my every move.

I arrived at the location and did not have my card. I didnt think it was a problem because I have seen several clients come in before without their card and the staff would take their telephone number and make sure they had a membership and then tell them to have a good workout. But today they asked for my card and I replied by I dont have it but I can give my telephone number but their reply to me was different. I dont know if it because I have on a police t-shirt or what but they told me that to make sure I have my card next time or I cant work out. Ive never heard them tell a client that. I was shocked so I asked again, what happens if I dont have my card and the manager Sermarc Mitchell replied in a sarcastic way "you cant work out"!!!! I have never had this kind of experience here before and the only thing I can think is because I have on my police t-shirt. Every customer should be treated with respect period!!!

First off amazing gym for the low price of 10 dollars a month. Been going there almost a year now and I can say the experience is rather satisfying to be able to do the workouts I want when I want. I do enjoy it being 24/7 gives customers the ability to have a flexible schedule for the daily workout. The workers there are very nice and all real fit for the job. Other people on google say they dont know alot about lifting but this isnt no "gold gym" where the employees have to all be able to bench more than 500 to get the job. They are some healthy looking individuals with kind smiles when you walk through the door. Oh but only problem I have is when theres about 5-8 teenage boys that think that using the Smith machine for a hour and a half gets annoying, but thats just me being a meat head. This is a great gym for beginners, hard working employees, fun place to go for a few hours 6 days a week.

This location in particular is by far the rudest place weve been to yet! We signed up to the one on Marsh Lane in North Dallas and are paying the $21 fee so that my husband will be able to go to all the Planet Fitness because we knew we would be moving soon hes been to the one in Irving to the one in South Dallas and to this one more than a handful of times he has no issue at any of them but every time he comes to this one they have him fill out a ridiculous form, the same exact one with info they should have since the time we signed up or his last visit! hes been going to this one for maybe a little over three months now and every time he goes in he takes in his backpack so all of sudden today there is a problem with him having his backpack I dont understand the reason behind this and if those are the rules thats fine but why only this location hes having these issues?? Im beyond upset!

Its no 24hr Fitness, but its something. For a low fee you get what you pay for, but it would be great if they had a water fountain on the second floor where all the treadmills are- heaven forbid you have to refill your water bottle mid-workout- the only water fountain in the building is on the first floor! Speaking of water fountains, its not even the fancy one that refills the bottles from a top-pouring spout when you hold your bottles in front of the motion-sensor, its the old fashioned fountain where you have to tilt your bottle to the side and wait 10 minutes for water to slowly fill your bottle. Also, it would be great if theyd make more room for floor exercises; the only designated area to stretch in the gym is the size of a large walk in closet and it gets crowded when there are more than 4 people who want to stretch/ do abs at once.

This was the first gym I ever subscribed to. I was surprised at how cheap it was. I was told that all Planet Fitnesss were "beginner gyms" and that eventually I would get tired of it. I didnt find that to be the case at all. The atmosphere is comfortable, the prices are affordable and the amenities are quite nice if you upgrade to the highest option. My fiancee and I upgraded to the $20/month option. We both went together every time and I added her as a guest. So we basically only paid $10/month each. The service is pretty nice and friendly. I like this location in particular because they have an indoor track. Sure this gym doesnt have the fancy rock wall or the nice swimming pool but you get what you pay for right? Decent all around.

My experience wasnt a good one on the first visit, they shut down the restrooms, the second visit at least you could only use the toilet but you couldnt take a shower. Also, my contract is up and Ive been told that i would need to appear in person to cancel, although they open 24 hours a day, i appeared in person to cancel and was told that you can only cancel between 6a-10 pm . You have an online account that doesnt give you the option top cancel, but it does give option to update payment information.. Maybe its just me, I will never do business with them again. if i could put zero i would... also the equipment should get more stars, but how they operate business is blah, blah, blah!! one hand dont know what the other hand is doing.

I signed up to this gym two years ago. I have tried on several occasions to cancel my account and they keep giving me the runaround. At first they told me I need to go into the store to cancel it when I go into the store theyre telling me something about a $10 charge. They have been getting $30 a month from me for two years and I have only been to the gym twice. Then the suppose it supervisor lied to me and told me he didnt have a supervisor. And when you call customer service you pretty much get the same crappy service. I will never ever do business nor will I recommend planet fitness to anybody. They take your money and they give you hell to get out of their contract.
