Fitness evolution seems like a great deal at first but then... First, a trainer made it seem like I could do some training sessions with them for free, and that turned out to be a lie. Then I realized that the employees there would rather talk to each other, give people dirty looks, and work out than restock weights, clean around the gym or wash and restock towels! Plus if you ever need to call and speak with someone, regardless of the question, you wont get an answer. These people could care less about their customers once you sign their RIDICULOUS contract! And by the way, if you cancel before a year is up, you have to pay $100 (no biggie) but you have to send in a letter to their cancellation department stating your want for cancellation, with a $100 check and THEN it takes 30 days for them to actually cancel your membership. Now to my biggest issue. The manager. His name is Jacob Guajardo and he is a completely unapologetic, unhelpful, rude, jerk. After not being able to get anyone on the phone to help us cancel our membership after we moved, being hung up on, and dealing with the self serving jerks they call employees... Jacob offered not a shred of proper customer service and when I asked to whom I could complain to about him, he gave me no name. No number. Only the excuse that his boss (the owner: who by the way has a pretty length strain on complaints as Ive found via rip off report) doesnt deal with the gym anymore. Please. I know this place is cheap but its for good reason. Save yourself the trouble and just find another gym.

Well I notice that some of the people that work there will allow their buddies to leave the weights just lying around and blame it on the wrong person. The atmosphere sucks just dont quit give you that extra push energy you need, could be the music, but the gym just seems dark and dead. The water fountain serves Luke warm water, all the time. When my membership is up, I definetetly will not renew. The gym needs a face lift. Its just a dark and gloomy gym. I know that most of your motivation should come from an inside desire, but something weird happens to you when you walk through the door, something steals that inner desire. When you look around at a lot of the members faces, you see that zombie type look, like they are trying to stay motivated, but something is draining that desire. I guess the saying, "you get what you pay for" is true in this case. Membership rate is good, but quality is lacking. Dont believe me though, go try it for yourself for about a week.

Awesome gym! Have all of the right equipment to get the job done. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great place to workout. Child care is a huge plus for this gym. Sometimes I got to take my little man with me and Diesel Fitness makes this possible. Basketball court, sauna, spacious locker rooms, free weights, MMA training area, and numerous of other great equipment. Excellent place to workout. Come in, sign up, get fit. Chuck Wilkinson is an amazing trainer at Diesel Fitness, Denton, TX and is highly knowledgeable of how the body works. Easy to workout with, no intimidation or forcefull training. Been working out with Chuck for a little over a month and I have dropped a pants size and gained more muscle mass. An extra inch or two in my biceps is not a bad thing. Thanks Chuck and thank you Diesel Fitness.

Staff is lazy and rude unless your one of their "buddies" Everything seems ok, I wouldnt know because I only play basketball and do the eliptical. The court is horrible!!!!!! Ive rolled my ankles there plenty of times because its so slippery from dust. I recently sprained my ankle trying to run without sliding and I havent been back to the gym in a few weeks so my ankle can heal. Weve complained to the staff plenty of times but they dont care. Theyre too busy hanging out and joking with the other staff or browsing the internet. The court has def. never been mopped buffed or waxed. They might sweep once a week if that. I checked out LA fitness bball court and its amazing. Id like to go there but theres too many people there, I wish FE would just take care of the bball court!!

Run! Do not join this gym, it is not worth the trouble you will have canceling your contract when the time comes. Joining was simple but nothing could have prepared me to the pain and stress it caused me to cancel this gym membership, not to mention the extra monthly fees they automatically withdrew from my account past the one year contract while they were supposedly waiting to cancel my account. This gym is illegally stealing from people has no business ethics and should be shut down. Oh and the ridiculous requirements they have to cancel the account are a pain. Also, Daniel- staff, said he could not give me a phone number for the cancellation department. This should be illegal. Do not bother with these thieves!

Great staff, great members. If youre thinking about joining Legacy, then you probably have been to a gym before, and know what a gym is. Its a gym, with gym stuff, nearly everything you need and well worth the price. Ive been going to Legacy almost daily for about six months and I love it there. Ive met great people, can always find someone for a spot, fist bump, or a laugh. No one is rude, or obnoxious, just good people trying to push their limits or improve their health. Dont hesitate to ask to work in with someone, no one minds. And I also can recommend Courage. I spent my first three months there working with him to jump start my program and it was worth every penny. Come check them out.

I joined this gym three days ago. Today, I found a gym that was closer to me. I went into Legacy, explained the situation and even though I signed an agreement stating I needed to give Legacy 30 days notice to cancel (which I had already been charged $30 for first month and would owe additional $30 for the next month since it was 27 days away), the owner shook my hand, canceled my account so I didnt owe $30 for the next month and then wrote me a check to refund first payment! As a customer, this was the most painless process from a gym I have ever experienced. Im not a member, but if this is how they do things, join!! You are important to them!!

If you havent been inside Legacy in the last 6-12 months, you dont know what youre missing. HUGE changes and improvements have been incorporated since they took over from the previous management / company, Diesel Fitness. The facility is clean, the equipment is plentiful and in good service, and whether you are a hard core gym rat or a casual, drop in kinda person, or anything in between, this gym can more than accommodate your needs. One of the only gyms around with childcare too, moms and dads dont have to give up their gym time. Classes, trainers, and great extras make this gym the absolute BEST bang for your buck.

I have been a member to so many different gyms and this is the best gym I have been a member at! I used to live in Dallas and was a member of all of the big chain gyms and they didnt have any personal attention and I could never get a machine. This gym is so different. They have everything you could want at a gym, all of the nice amenities, including an awesome staff. I love that when I walk in everyone knows me... but it isnt about social hour here. They are incredibly talented fitness trainers and are so helpful. I am so happy I found such a good gym in Texas. Thank you Fitness Evolution!
