I have been a member of 24 hour fitness for over 20 years. I have utilized the facilities, not only within the United States, but worldwide as well. I have to say that unfortunately the 24 located in Mansfield, Texas is very poorly managed. Most of the time there is a least 20-30 percent of the equipment that is broke and/or non functioning. The average time it takes these items to be repaired is at least 1-2 months. This club also has 3 racket ball courts all of which only one is utilized due to broken doors (this has been a problem for over 3-4 months). There are also a few areas of broken mirrors that have not been repaired for at least 6 months (noted broken mirrors have been taped and/or covered). Also, I’m not sure why 24 hour fitness no longer enforces members to put their weights up when done. Almost daily I see members having to remove large amounts of weights from a free weight machines in order to use it. The list of problems with this club extends even past the listed issues. I’m really hoping that upper management will take note of this review and assure this club is better taken care of.

I have been going to this 24 hour fitness since it first opened and have mixed reviews. One of the main issues that has gotten better is crowding from 5:30-7:30 PM it still gets quite busy, but is not as bad as some of the other local clubs. Some staff members can either be friendly or completely ignore you. Upkeep is falling behind as the machines get older and older. Like the comment before about 25% of the machines or not working properly or not working at all. Yes, there are still mirrors with duck tape and card board on them. The wet area appears to be the worst: hot tub is always dirty, Steam room is constantly breaking, and the sauna needs to be completely redone. The facility is usually keep clean. Also theft has been an issue in the parking lot cops are rottenly visiting, but the exterior lights will sometimes be off well into the night.

24 Hour Fitness in Mansfield is absolutely horrible. Only 3 of the 6 showers work, so many exercise machines are "out of order", toilets are broke and have been for at least 6 months, numerous elliptical machines and treadmills are broken, lights burned out in the racquetball courts, the gym is never clean and the locker room is beyond grotesque and the only toilet that works usually doesnt have toilet paper. They also do not use A/C in the locker room (also poor air flow), so in the summer months it is incredibly hot and you start sweating as soon as you walk out of the shower. If you are looking for a gym in Mansfield, dont waste your time or money here.

This place is a dump. Broken machines and all have enough corrosion on the youd think they were pulled from the ocean. I could care less about management because there doesnt seem to be any. And the music, they blast 70s-80s Era music LOUD. I work out with Beat studios and I can still hear the gyms music. The music is older than most of the people who work out here. The classes are the only decent thing here but if they use equipment, its junk. Dirty locker rooms too.

I go to this gym for convenience only. The gym itself is very worn down and not taken care of! The machines are rusted from all the sweat that has accumulated ... many are broken... the mats a old, worn and ripped! When I check in early in the morning Im greated by someone sitting at the desk with headphones in their ears watching something on their phone! If you have a choice go somewhere else!

The monthly price isnt bad but the maintenance to the facility is horrible. The machines are pretty janky and they have several broken machines that seem like they will never be fixed. More machines have failed since I started visiting the gym. The associates arent very attentive and seem to cluster in a group chatting rather than paying attention to the facility.

The homeless guy who lives inside this club was sleeping in the mens locker room when I arrived for my early morning work out. Not what I want to see early in the morning. I reported him to the staff (again) . Staff saya that managment says, " leave him alone". I gess they will be changing their name to 24 HOUR FITNESS & HOMELESS SHELTER soon.

I have only been a member for two months. I enjoy the various equipment however 15-20% of the equipment is not working correctly. I have told the front desk several times however they are never repaired. If management kept up with repairing things, the club would be a 4 star easily.

the gym itself is ok. staff is not very friendly have not once acknowledge when we walk in the lady thats there at night around 10 and late is friendly. So far not bad, better than the other one I was going to. People nowadays can be very Ill mannered so Im very picky

My favorite 24 hr fitness. Always clean, always well kept, and the majority of equipment works! They also have TRX straps and a functional fitness area. This location has a pool, basketball court, and sauna. Maybe a block away from Hwy 287.

Great gym with excellent staff! I frequent my local gym in Austin and was in Grand Prairie for a wedding. Jon the front desk attendant was very friendly and welcomed myself and the groom to out workout.

Pretty nasty gym, got stomach virus 4 times from this place. Cant leave a lane open during a swim class and was asked "is that the only time I want to go swimming" by a usual out of shape employee.

Pros, less crowded, nice crew, positive people, clean locker room. Cons, Sauna need major repair, as well as some equipment. (Racket room doors, treadmills, jacuzzi tub, etc.)

Nice basic gym. Dont like water classes during busy times but I guess they are trying to keep everyone happy. The pool is not a classroom it should be open to all at all times.

24 is the typical gym. Not always perfectly clean, not always in perfect repair. But, the staff is always friendly, and, when I go, its not too crowded.

Seems dirty. Bathroom (mens) was gross, and the water fountains are in bad shape. Crowded and seems like the cardiovascular machines are in disrepair.

Old, poorly maintained, small, crowded and a rough crowd. Not worth the cost considering double the price will get you lifetime fitness.

I miss this location, I moved to Fort Worth and Im less than 5 minutes from the HORRIBLE Overton location that isnt even open 24 Hours!!
