My disappointed rating is based solely on my customer service experience during the estimate process. Ive been into the shop and have seen pictures of their beautiful remodeling jobs, and Im sure they would have done a five star job on my kitchen had we gone through with the deal. My story... I had Maverick come out to quote me on a small kitchen remodel (new granite counters, tile backsplash, and new sink and faucet). BJ was delightful when he came to my home. He seemed on board with my project and told me that I could expect an emailed estimate soon. We even discussed some potential calendar dates to get started. No estimate after a few days, so I called for a status. Was told theyd have it to me by the beginning of the following week. Still nothing come the following Tuesday so I called again. At this point I was told that my job was too small for them as they dont handle anything under $10-12K. This was not the impression I received when BJ came to my house, so I asked Kasie to please speak with the owner and clarify if they would be able to do my job. I received a follow up call this morning, and it was explained to me that they could not accommodate my small job at this time for business/logistical reasons. I understand this decision from a business perspective, but I am disappointed that it took a week and a half to turn me down. They wasted my time and did not effectively communicate throughout their decision making process. In my opinion, the owner should have been able to tell me from the very beginning that my job was not within the scope of work that Maverick handles. Also, customer service skills need improvement because I was made to feel that I was unworthy for not having a five figure budget… I recognize that this was probably not their intention to make me feel this way, but it could have been handled much better from their end. We all work hard for our money, and any remodeling job is a big deal to the person getting it done. Customer service and communication should not lack just because Im only spending a few thousand dollars. Do not call on Maverick if your job is not a large one. It will be a waste of your time. If you have a big budget for a big job, Im sure Maverick will do beautiful work for you.

As an investor in properties over time, I have worked with many rehab companies and have experienced a variety of types of General Contractors and I must say this has been one of the most professional and communicative experiences I have had in a long time. Everything was detailed as to the specifics of the project that my wife and I required in this remodel. The design team and the people who helped coach us in choosing the materials and interior design were so informative and educated that it was a lot less painful than what I anticipated for a $250,000 remodel. Mr. Stampley and his staff passed Carl Sewell in the areas of "Under Promise" and "Over Deliver". What a great completed project and I highly recommend this Clear Lake area "Renovation Specialist" and besides the interior and exterior our kitchen has been the talk of every dinner we have hosted. Great Company.................D

In one word "outstanding", was my experience with Mavrick Remodeling - from BJ, Kasie and office staff to the onsite construction workers. Everyone was very professional and took pride in MY project. I would recommend them highly to tackle any construction project. I could not be happier with my knew space! In fact, I am ready for the next project with Mavrick Remodeling as soon as possible. Me being a Construction owner would highly recommend Maverick Remodeling. They helped me out tremendously with all my phone calls & color choices from 350 miles away. Avoid this business if you are looking to complete a small project. They obviously have no desire to work on minor projects. I was hoping to see what they could do to help me with a relatively small project to see how they might measure up for a much larger one but their receptionist had no interest in even setting up an appt to take the time to discuss.

Sad and pathetic operation. Made an appointment a week ago. I even called this morning to confirm appointment. No show, no call. Then, when I called them, BJ (the Owner) (appropriate name) got mad at me for calling him out and said he didnt;t want my business! Truly an unorganized train wreck. Save yourself the headache and call someone else!!!
