The best barber in Texas. He can do womens hair, childrens & mens. He has cut my hair for 40 years, I wont go anywhere else. The atmosphere is old school barbershop. The owner Kenith Kerr has a following of regulars that become family. We sit & chat & share stories of our kids, dogs, families etc. Always a message there that Ken loves Jesus and you too!! I have witnessed him give his services away to someone in need. I have seen him work tirelessly without a break just to keep the flow of the shop going & ensure the wait isnt too long. Sometimes you want to wait though because you might miss out on the fun if you are in and out too fast!! Nothing better than 40 years of history & a fine haircut when you walk out. Love this man more than he can possibly know. Absolutely love him, PS if you asked him for the shirt off his back he would give it too you & his coat!

I usually go to the nearest barbershop when its time for a trim. Today, along with being the only shop with a five star rating, North Hills was that shop. How lucky am I to have been 0.3 miles away from here? Not only am I currently sporting the best hair Ive had in years, the atmosphere at this barbershop is straight out of a movie. Ken, the owner and barber, knew every person to walk through the door by name. As well as being a master of his craft, Ken has an attitude and openness that makes you feel as if youve been a long time patron. If you arent dedicated to a particular barber and dont get your next cut here, youve made a mistake. Thanks for the conversation and haircut, Ken. Youve earned my business for as long as your doors are open.

Ive known Ken for 20 years, and you couldnt ask for a truer friend. He is a representative of what we should all strive to be, a hard working genuinely good person. His shop is nostalgic and reminds you of simpler times when going to the Barber Shop was something to look forward to, not only for the cut but more importantly the fellowship. I have witnessed Kens compassion and true generosity, which is a trait you would be hard pressed to find at a "big box" establishment. He is part of a vanishing breed of REAL barbers who not only cut your hair the way generations before you had it done, but are true friends as well.

Ken has been cutting my hair since1986 and will continue to do so until he decides to retire or I go bald. If youre looking for a new barber that has the experience you cant find in your average Barber Shop then I strongly recommend that you give Ken a opportunity to make you happy. Ken is a good Christian man with a strong moral base, I cannot speak highly enough about" my barber". To end, years ago when my father was in the hospital for a heart surgery Ken went out of his way and came to JPS to give my pop a cut, something that I will never forget, thank you once again Ken.

Ken Kerr has an amazing ability as a barber. He can actually cut hair just about anyway that you would want him to cut it. My wife was my personal Barber for 36 years. When her health would not permit her to continue, I started going to my sons barber, Ken Kerr. I readily found out why my son has enjoyed going to Ken for a haircut for so many years. I have been going to Ken for a couple of years. He is the best barber I have ever had. He has an old school flair who pleases old and young alike. I was looking for a barber that was old school and give me a shave, with hot lather. He has done that, became a friend,and Im always impressed with his friendship to the locals and people that are in need of a good hair cut. Getting a haircut for me is a once a week deal. I struggled for years with finding a barber shop and barber. About 3 years ago this barber shop came to mind. Im from Haltom City. I live in the Colleyville area. So I drive a 16 mile round trip to get my haircut. Ken has cheerfully cut my hair every week for the past 3 years. In that time he has stayed open late, missed lunch, and put me ahead of others to accommodate my needs. Hes always there with no excuses. Thats why I go there.

Ken is the bomb. Yeah, you hear Barber and you think a woman wouldnt go there. WRONG! Hes up on all the styles, hes a great chatter, and he has a true heart. My grand pop went to him for more years than I can count, probably since Ken opened as a youngster. What I love most, is that hes honest, a CHRISTIAN!!!! and he knows his stuff. Im sorry I lost track and endured years of garbage cuts from others. Im back! I promise, Ill remain spoiled by hands driven by GOD.

Ive had trouble in the past getting a haircut at other places, I came here on a whim as I passed it by thinking to myself I need a haircut. Must say the place doesnt look all that extravagant, but the service was excellent. Not only was he professional and friendly, he had my hair done in no time and got my hair exactly how Ive wanted it. Will definitely be back and recommend stopping by and seeing ken!

The owner who cuts your hair talks non stop and regardless of what you kind of hair cut or style or length. He will give a crew cut and not any crew cut his exact hair cut that he wears on his head himself. I DONT KNOW HOW HE STAYS IN BUSINESS. I guess there is steady stream of old fogees. Who get a ugly crew cut. I will never go back again or recommend anyone go there. Even if you want a crew cut!

I have been going to North Hills Barber Shop for over 30+ years! I have known Ken who is an excellent barber and communicator! He loves God and people. He is a talented and experienced barber who can give you the best cut for a very reasonable price. By the way, I travel over 24 miles round trip with the anticipation of another great cut from a great friend! Highly recommended!!

Ive been a client of Kens for over 25 years. Ken has always done a great job and it has always been a pleasure to go to his shop. You are always welcome and the only time that you wont be greeted by your name is the first time you meet Ken, after that youre family. Ken never fails to ask about my wife and kids (by name) even though my kids have grown up and moved away.

It is very difficult to find a good and decent barber now in days and ive tried a lot of different barber shops and this one is by far the best place i have been to get my hair cut the barber gives top and excellent service, he is polite and friendly and over all makes you feel welcome and comfortable.
