My last barber retired, and I was looking for another great barbershop in wichita. For a period of time, village barber shop has been a well recognized shop in the wichita area. As it has shifted hands over the years, the quality has never changed, at least from what Ive bent told by individuals much older than me that were once patrons to the first and previous owners. Currently, if you still want a great haircut, it is the place to go. All the barbers do a great job of cutting styles you ask for, and I would recommend this shop if your in the search for a new place. In my opinion, its is hands down one of the top barbershop in wichita. Do yourself a favor, and get your haircut here. You will not regret it.

Edison is great at what he does... as is his wife... as is Jay. These three barbers (or barbette, for the Misses) are truly great at what they do, and Ive never left there disappointed. Edison will give you exactly what you want and more, even if you didnt know you wanted it! Both short- and long-haired styles are cut expertly by the three of them (although I stick with short, Ive seen their work with people coming and going during my appointments). This family-run business is great and I refuse to go anywhere else while Im in Wichita.

This barbershop is hands down the best in town. All his employees are highly qualify Ive been going here for about a year and a half now. So Ive talked to everyone there a lot and I know they have to top of the line to work there. Edison cares so much about his customers and his quality. Its a great atmosphere with great spirit. I recommend to anyone in town and I have brought all my friends in for haircuts before. Keep up the good work guys

Edison and Raquel are class-acts, super charismatic and excellent barbers. They epitomize everything that is great about College Hill - small town environment smack dab in the middle of the biggest city in Kansas. They make an effort to really know all of their clients and they never let a client leave unsatisfied.

I have Raquel cut my hair every month or so and she does a wonderful job everytime. For $17 (plus the small tip I like to leave) I am always very satisfied with my haircut. I just call the day before usually or even that day, and they usually dont have any trouble fitting me at some point during the day.

Village barber shop is the best spot in town. Edison usually cuts my hair but everyone in there does an excellent job. They are very friendly and very welcoming. I cant say a single bad thing about this place, the only thing I can say is great job to the owners and staff and thank you!

I just moved to Wichita and finding a new barber can be an experience. I came here because of the good reviews and now I wont be going anywhere else. Edison is incredibly friendly, listens, takes his time and appreciates your business. Great haircut.

Its my favorite barber shop around. Jay has been cutting my hair for 15 years. Hes as good a person as he is a barber. During college, I drove two hours each way just to have him cut my hair.
