We love Frisco Dance studio and have been here since the doors first opened! The hearts of the owners and instructors are so BIG and they truly love the kids! I have found the office staff to be very organized and on top of things. The few issues that I have been witness to were handled quickly and efficiently. No one is perfect and they dont claim to be, which is another thing I love..theyre honest and truly care about making each of the parents and dancers better! They see hundred of student and parents a week and care and love each one! They are very quick to resolve any issue and work to answer all my questions. Jason and Candice are truly wonderful caring people and they work hard to make sure that everyone at FDS is happy! I love all of the continuing education that FDS provides their instructors! Theyre constantly bettering themselves to be able to better serve their students. They stay very up to date on the current dance styles and offer SO many different genres of dance! The Master classes and conventions we have participated in are just awesome too! This is not our first studio, we have experienced other studios as well, but I can honestly say that we have made lifelong friends that we consider family at FDS, and those relationships were formed and nutured within the walls of the studio. In my honest opinion, youll never find a perfect studio..but you wont find a more loving and heart centered studio than Frisco Dance Studio and their family of studios. It truly is a FAM and we are blessed to be a part of such a great studio family!

Our girls did not have one minute of instruction on the day they measured for costumes. Or any instruction on the day that they did portraits. But every class the studio offered was doing Recital Dances, so there is no way to do a make-up class for the dance THEY needed. Also, the studio closed and cancelled all classes the 2 weeks before the recital, which meant our girls were pretty rusty by recital week. Our old studio would have an extra person doing all measurements, who would call the girls out of class one at a time, so that they all still got a full class. Also, portraits were done after class in a separate room. May FDS could consider going to that so that our girls get instruction each week? We would love for our girls to get weekly instruction right up until the recital. We loved the recital, the studio staff did a wonderful job coordinating it, and we loved hearing again about all their values.

Wish the office staff was able to be more service oriented. The teachers are good. Wish the classes werent so big. Wish the classes started on time. And maybe had a few minutes in between so that if one class ran 2 minutes over, then the next class didnt get shortchanged. The mid-year parent programs are really cute! Also the "dress up days" are a lot of fun. (Oh I just read the owner response to "Concerned Parent"--office staff: please have a more service oriented attitude! Attacking a parent for giving feedback doesnt help. A customer service attitude would reply "We appreciate all feedback! We would really like to talk with you more about your experience, so please call or email us." Rather than publicly tearing down a parent for giving an opinion. No wonder she doesnt want to use her name!

my child was not pushed to their fullest potential. it seemed like hannah, the jazz teacher only wanted to deal with the kids who could jump the highest, turn the best, and were the most flexible. leslie, the ballet teacher didnt really seem to care much for younger kids, and didnt offer many corrections towards anyone. audrey, who taught mostly contemporary and lyrical didnt really seem to know how to teach a class without suggestions from students as to what to do in class. overall, our experience was ok, but it could have been much better.

In the past couple years, our girls have had all of the teachers at FDS. Most of them are very good teachers. One teacher, however, could improve. Kristy, the Hip Hop teacher, constantly yells at the classes. She insults and embarrasses the kids. She has to waste a lot of class time disciplining her own son. Patience would make her a better teacher, along with having her son behave.

We love Frisco Dance Studio! My daughter was with this school for two seasons and then wanted to try out cheer & gymnastics for a year so we took a bit of a break. We came back for the summer for a refresher ballet/jazz class with Hannah and we are thrilled to be back! I just love how friendly everyone is here! I just wish there were more seats for us in the waiting area.

We wish instructors could spend more class time on teaching. We had a couple classes canceled so they could measure girls for costumes. And a couple classes cancelled for portraits. We wished that was all at a different time. The instructors are pretty good, but we just wanted to get our full season of classes in. We have been at FDS for a couple years.

Frisco Dance Studio is wonderful! The instructors are great, the office staff is super friendly, and they have many classes for multiple ages. Our girls have really enjoyed their time at this studio. PLEASE IGNORE the trolls (Concerned Parent) posting about the office staff or instructors - theyre just angry dance mom types! We love the FAM :)

We love this studio and have had nothing but a great and positive experience for the past two years! Their instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and unlike other studios, they actually CARE about your children here (inside and out). Hip Hop and Jazz classes are super fun too. Keep up the great work FDS!
