My daughter (6) started in the fall and had done dance 2 years prior in another town. At Taylor, she had two different teachers, one of whom she loved. The other, the owner of the studio, she did not. She was afraid of her and never wanted to go to class. I kept pushing her to go and even spoke to the front desk about my young daughters feelings. They pretty much told me to get over it and that my daughter would learn to love the owners "strictness." Well, that never happened. I was disgusted at the recital practice when the owner made shooting her brains out motions in front of my daughters class and their parents when the kids were struggling remembering the moves. Keep in mind, this is a class of 6-year-olds - not appropriate! Ms. Taylor never once said hello to me. One time she closed the door in my face when I was trying to watch my daughter practice and there was no room to stand. She only seemed to acknowledge her troupe of "dance moms." Virginia, who seems to run the front desk, ranged from nice to rude. There were a few times she offended me, but the final straw was when she called to ask why my daughter hadnt been to dance the last 2 weeks. I told her we were not sure we were coming back and wanted to give my daughter a break. She went on and on about how spring recital fees/costume fees were due (keep in mind we just had Christmas recital 3 weeks ago)... She demanded a yes/no answer, so I told her no. Its pretty clear this place is about money,money,money and more money. Not a lot of care re: children - just rake in the money. All the "stuff" that happened at the place added to that - I would not recommend this place.

The owner of this studio does not have your childs best interest. Her boyfriend, a convicted sex offender, was a part of that studio for years. He was at every recital, he was in and out of the place frequently, and before he was arrested, he taught a class for the entire summer (although Suzan will not admit to this and it is all true). Suzan knew what her boyfriend was doing and still sent students to him for their chiropractic care. Simply being a "good teacher" is NOT enough! The boyfriend even abused Suzans daughter and told several of the dancers (to bad they were not called to the witness stand). Do not believe anything Suzan says, she lies so much, talks about other dancers and parents to her older kids, talks about her sex life. This NOT the place to take your child.

Parents considering this facility, needs to know it is connected with a convicted sex offender, David A Russell. The owner is the convicted sex offenders girl friend and he was an investor for the studio. The staff is unprofessional and rude to the parents. Especially the owners mother, Virginia. When I had my daughter there, Virginia was extremely rude when I was removing her from the studio and sent me bills for several months after I withdrew her from the program. This was before the charges against David A. Russell. And was due to my 4 year not wanting to wear tights and the studio being unwilling to allow her take ballet in a leotard and ballet shoes.

I think this studio is great. The teachers are awesome. My three year old was new to dance and had Natalie as an instructor. She was very sensitive but stern and kept those kids focused. Paul and Virginia are great as well. Virginia is very direct, but considering the amount of kids that go through their studio, she needs to be strict on policies. Plus she puts up with parents who completely disregard their kids behavior... My daughter is very shy and timid and after our first few weeks at Taylor she was always happy to get in the door. We have a lot of friends who have kids of all ages dancing here. Great studio! Great Price!

Went by to get information about the classes for my 5 year old. Receptionist is just rude and should mind her own business. I was wondering if they had Sat classes since the week hours are too early for me to take my child and she said, "lady just work thru your lunch hour and leave early to bring the kid in"... What??? If this is the service when you want to get business, I can only imagine once they already have your business. Drove less than 2 miles away to another studio and you can feel the difference in customer service right away.

Both my daughters have been at the studio for years. One is very talented, and the other is a bull in a China shop when it comes to dance. However, both are welcomed to the studio with open arms and taught equally by the same instructors. The instructors care deeply about the children and search for ways to connect and make dance make sense when they just dont get it. Never once has the studio let us down or given up on my coordination challenged child. They grow the girls as people and as dancers.

The owners and staff are exceptionally caring and professional. They continue to surprise me. They all have a passion for dance and are so good with the kids. The recital was so well organized and it was such a great experience for my daughter and our entire family!! The facility is beautiful and so well thought out...my daughter loves for me to drop her off a few minutes early so she can have a snack with her friends. I am so grateful to have them in my community!!!!!

My daughter has been dancing at Taylor Dance Center for almost 9 years now. She is an exceptionally good tapper and loves all styles. The teachers care about all the children and teach them to respect others. I know my child is safe and loved and will grow into a beautiful dancer with self confidence. Thank you Taylor Dance Center

Great studio with an owner who truly loves the kids she teaches!!! You cant always make everyone happy but from personal experience of helping set up recitals, being involved in daddy daughter dances, and other studio events Suzan truely has a love for her dancers!!! My daughter adores Miss Natalie, Miss Katie, and Miss Courtney!!

Her boyfriend is in prison for molesting MANY of her students. She sent them to him. She testified for him and had her daughter testify for him in the penalty phase. He even did it to her daughter but she convinced her own child that he is a "doctor" and it was acceptable for him to put his hands between her legs.
