I joined West End Gym for a month during an extended stay in Galveston. I have nothing but good things to say about the place. It is kept very clean and open 24 hours a day (no excuses!). It doesnt have every piece of equipment in the world, but it does have everything you need to beat the heat/humidity and put together a quality cardio or weight training program. Towels and their high tech ice/water machine are nice amenities. Most importantly, this is a friendly gym community. Mike (the owner) and everyone else I interacted with were great.

Great Gym!! Been coming here on and off for over a year!! Mike Always keeps the place clean, and has plenty options with all kinds of different weights and machines!! Come check it out for yourself!!!

A nice 24 hour gym, with your own door code to get in, and it stays clean. Some nights, you can have the place to yourself. Be careful not to overlook it; it faces away from the major road.
