The environment at American Academy of Dance offers students not only excellent dance training, but also an opportunity to practice skills of personal development. The challenges presented during my training at this school prepared me for the rest of my life in ways I could not have realized at the time. My ballet training took me everywhere in the professional world of dance I ever wished to go and beyond. But the lessons of practice, patient persistence, gracious disappointment, and cooperation took me farther still in the world of medicine. I can now realize that while the teachers at American Academy of Dance instructed me how to shape my legs and feet into the body of a dancer, they were also giving me the advantage to shape my mind and heart into the soul of someone who could do anything. Over twenty years later, I continue to enjoy sharing experiences with friends who share the privilege of this school and its artists of both dance and life.

Used to come here until I was 8 it was ok but I wanted to be somewhere that pushed me harder. If you really want to be pushed to your greatest ability this place might not be the studio. Overall it is fun and the nutcracker is awesome!
