I highly recommend anyone interested in taking salsa or bachata dance classes to come to Salrica Dance. Oscar, Nate, Jorjet, Veronica and Lilli are all very patient and love to keep the classes fun with can-do attitude. They encourage students to go out together and dance at clubs and studio socials to keep up with it. To help, they also offers a monthly 3rd Saturday party social to not only practice but also watch live shows for inspiration. To change it up, Salrica also invites guest instructors from different cities and even countries to come give workshops at the studio. For those who want more, Salrica also offers beginner and intermediate teams which meet a couple times a week to learn a dance routine to perform at the in-house party, clubs and festivals. Check them out!

A wonderful space, managed by kind and helpful people. I live in Austin but I come to Houston often for dance related activities, it is so nice to come to Salrica, I never feel uncomfortable or unwelcome as alas I often do in Austin. It is nice to see such diversity in the dancers, instructors and those who run the space. All white all the time is no bueno, makes people uncomfortable. Creeped out. Luckily I never feel that way. No "imposter syndrome" and "you do not belong" vibes at Salrica, quite the opposite. Everyone is welcome. Thank you for that. I think you guys are awesome. <3
