The Sirrom facility is truly a wonderful space in which to perfect the art of dance! I have always admired the many styles of dance offered there from the exotic flavor of Belly Dancing and fiery Flamenco to authentic hula and Puerto Rican/Cuban style street salsa with an Afro-Latin infusion! Every staff member/instructor Ive encountered here has been very friendly, informative, and accommodating. Having danced at Sirrom since 2008, I have seen some positive improvements made such as in adding a fourth studio and freshening up the wall color. Some highlights of the studio are the four mirrored studios in various sizes that make for an intimate class all the way to a studio dance party of 125+. The split level stage adds a dimension that improves the quality of instruction in such a way that obstruction of view is truly never a problem. Another feature that is unique to this studio is the glass artwork in the ceiling. Also worthy to be mentioned is the full service kitchen! Great for parties and socials! I have enjoyed dancing here for the past two years now and look forward to many years to come!

Alex Simmons, a well known flamenco teacher and performer in the Houston area, has recently moved to Sirrom Studio. She is a passionate and dedicated instructor that teaches all dance levels. Classes are a lot of fun and you will come out covered in sweat. Consider yourself warned: you will fall in love with this powerful yet inspiring dance discipline! Regarding the studio: the place is really nice and clean, and the location is awesome (inner loop). It is always filled with people dancing all sorts of different things. It is a great place to learn and meet new people. You must come try it out!!

The new owners (one in particular, and two to speak of) are NOT friendly and the third owner should consider either always manning the desk or finding a receptionist, as two of the owners (CP and PD) never have a smile, and even worse, have been downright RUDE to paying customers. Belly dance has really exploded in the last few years, and while Sirrom was once a mecca for our dance form in Houston, there are now SEVERAL studios in the Houston area which offer quality Middle Eastern Dance clases with a smile. Also, the dancefloor is in much need of some more spring and a few rolls of marley.

I have been going to Sirrom for about a year. Its a great studio with excellent teachers and friendly staff. I look forward to class every week . I also enjoy Sirroms monthly programs that they have for the dancers & drummers. My first experience attending one of these programs blew me away! There was live music with drummers & flutes for anyone who wanted to dance. Its incredible feeling dancing to live music. Sirrom is a wonderful all around dance & music studio for anyone interested in different kind of dances, Belly Dance, Flamenco, Hula, Salsa etc. Great location.

Ive been taking belly dance and samba classes at Sirrom for almost 2 years! I love taking classes here! The staff is fun, friendly, and inviting! I feel as if were all one big happy family! They have drum jams every month, and theyre tons of fun! They have shows every few months and all the groups/classes have the opportunity to perform for their friends and family. Who knew, Id end up loving something that started an "interesting leisure learning class."

The school added a fourth dance studio. Sirrom is also featuring other modes of dance besides belly and hula dance. There is a salsa aerobics class lead by the outgoing Raul. In another week or so, a samba class will be taking place. Sirrom also rents their facilities for other dance and theater groups. Having an elevated stage does make a difference.

Sirrom Studi is a wonderful place to begin your new dance experiences. The instructors are professional and awesome. This studio gives every student and opportunity to be a star in every performance. If you walk in this place with a smile you will leave with a smile and satisfied.

Ive known about Sirrom for almost a decade. Sirrom Studio really is a terrific facility for dance classes, workshops, and holding dance-related events. Great wooden dance floors. I highly recommend it!
