Alright. My coworker suggested that I come here since the person Ive used for about 7 years left T&G. It started off really well. I arrived a few minutes early and met with the stylist. I talked to her about what I wanted: 1) just a trim; 2) relayer the bottom of the back just a bit so its not a straight chop; 3) relayer the front; and 4) redo the bangs. I guess technically 3 out of 4 isnt bad, but you will still only get one star. She trimmed my hair which was fine, layered the front and back, and trimmed my bangs. Everything seemed a bit rushed but I didnt think much of it. After she dried my hair, I assumed she would redo the layers so they wouldnt be as choppy, but she didnt. She showed me the back, and it looked fine, she had dried it using a roller brush, so it was all curled in. I think the whole thing took about 30 minutes, which is a little too short when youre paying $64 for a cut. The next day I go to work and my coworkers all gasp and ask "what happened to your hair. I think they must be kidding, its fine. But then they took a picture of it. First, I didnt ask for a lot of layers, I said just the bottom. I think the layers in the back actually span about 6 inches, which while annoying, would be fine if there werent HUGE gaps between the layers, like theres no rhyme or reason. So layer one, 4 inches later, a bit of layer at the bottom (bottom 2 inches). Then some other random layers off to the side that are a few inches up (this means she didnt compare the layers on each side to make sure they were even). She did absolutely no blending of the layers after my hair was dry so everything looks awful and choppy. Im so pissed! I would go back to Clique to get it fixed, but if they did such a terrible job the first time, why would I trust them to fix it? Im going back to T&G this afternoon to get it fixed, paying double, but completely worth it.

My experience here was just okay. I waited 45 minutes (after my scheduled appointment time) before I even saw a stylist. When I finally did, I was talked into doing a conditioning treatment that seemed as if it were basically for the purpose of buying the stylist more time to finish the client before me. I came in for a hair cut and was there almost 3 hours. The conditioning treatment went well, my hair feels great. However, I inquired about the cost before the treatment and was mislead. I was definitely surprised when my bill came but I guess it was my fault - I should have double checked the price they told me with what is listed online. Jane was great. She was nice and seemed as if she knew what she was doing. However, again, she was really busy and was interrupted a few times while cutting my hair. I didnt realize this at the time because she curled my hair right after cutting it but it was cut unevenly - one side is longer than the other and the ends look choppy. I realized this a couple of days later when I straightened it. It looks awful and I dont feel as if I can style it as I normally would. Bottom line - not worth the $90 I paid. Especially since I am going to have to find someone to fix the damage. Update: I called and they were able to fit me in for a redo appointment. Ultimately she had to cut another couple of inches off my hair which I am not happy about. Went in for a trim and ended up with 5.5 - 6 inches off. It does look better now than it did.

If you have a stylist you love here, then great. But if your stylist leaves, dont trust management. Your stylist was probably protecting you from the inherently crooked methods from the front desk to the management. I have come here several times, services totaling between $111 and $170, purchasing product in addition each visit totaling 50-100% of my service cost. Thats how I tipped my original stylist. I know these numbers because the manager read them to me yesterday as I stood on trial in front of her staff ... over $12. Three other stylists at this establishment were apparently lying to me all along and I was now getting the immaculate truthful staff. They lied to me when I called to confirm that I was getting my original stylist a few months ago. She hadnt been there for three weeks when I called. I should have left then. The worst part is, this place has a manager who revealed details about my stylists exit from the company that no U.S. labor law abiding manager would ever divulge. They dont care about the rights of their stylists, and they do not care about longtime customers. I offered to pay $60 more than I was told, and she fought me on $12 more. Unbelievable. I just paid her so I could leave. I have two other friends with ridiculously long thick jet black hair who have been working the courage to come to where Ive been going and brave the blonde and brown trails. The three of us will be going elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience at Clique Salon. Everyone at the salon was very nice, personable, and welcoming. This was my first time at this salon. When I checked in, I got a warm welcome from the girl at the desk, and was asked to fill out a client form, giving name, address, phone number. I was offered a beverage, and was told that my stylist would be with me shortly. My stylist was Dayna, and she was great. I was first seated, and we discussed what I was wanting to have done. I was there for a cut and style. Dayna listened to what I was asking to be done, but more than that, she has true experience of what cut, and texture is right for your hair type, and face structure. A short time later another girl (i forgot her name), came to take me to get my hair washed, she was very nice too, and the scalp massage that you get is very relaxing. When I got back to my stylist Daynas work station, she began cutting my hair, the percision, and ease and confidence of Daynas hair cutting skils are very noticable. I have been living in Houston for three years, and have gone to seven different salons over the years, trying to find a stylist that knows how to cut hair well, and have been disappointed. Finally I now found a great salon Clique, and stylist, Dayna. I will definitely be coming back.

Okay, I have been searching for a salon that could work with my hair for years. Because I couldnt find one, I have been dying my own hair with box color for a very long time. Finally, after some google searching, I found this salon and decided to try it out because of the stellar reviews. LET ME TELL YOU I was NOT disappointed in my choice. I first came in yesterday and was given a consultation. Due to what we wanted to achieve with my hair, I had to come in today for a bigger window of time. I came in today with straw-like, thick, box-colored blonde hair. I thought it was damaged beyond repair. Not according to Jade! Jade is the sweetest girl Ive met, and completely transformed my hair. I walked out today with beautiful, multi-dimensional red hair, soft and silkier than ever before. Also, the dynamic of the entire salon is worth noting. Everyone helps each other, and complements each others work. It really is beautiful to see such positive attitudes and team work in a salon. After today, I dont think Ill give any other salon (or myself) another shot. Im not one to give reviews, but this was well worth typing out. If youre questioning whether or not to give this salon a chance, DO IT. And ask for JADE!!
