I am always reluctant to tell the world when I find a great new hairdresser because Im afraid that once people know my secret, I wont be able to book an appointment with her. But I owe it to every other BLOND in Houston to share the extraordinarily talented person I am now entrusting my locks with. Oh man! She is that good and the "blonds of Houston" need to know about her. Alas, it is my duty! I come to White Salon because Diane Le is the best colorist in Houston! She knows blond hair, which everyone claims to know, but rarely delivers on. I cannot begin to tell you the disasters Ive had trying to find someone who really gets the nuances of beautiful, natural looking, STUNNING blond hair, especially here in Texas where dark hair is everywhere. I have had my hair done (and paid major bucks) with top colorists in Paris, Cannes, Manhattan, San Francisco and LA. And Diane is by far the BEST YET. When I walk out of White Salon, I have a grin on my face like a Cheshire cat. Simply said, Diane makes me feel BEAUTIFUL, with gorgeous swingy, bouncy, sun-kissed, blond hair (oh, that also smells divine!). You know, the kind you see on celebrities heads that you envy from afar.....that look so incredibly natural, but you just know theyve paid a fortune for. Not only is Diane precociously talented in the hair department, she is also the sweetest, most pleasant human being on the planet. Youll walk out of White Salon not only looking the best youve ever looked, but with a smile on your face because youve spent the last few hours with one of the most kind and upbeat people youll ever meet. I have had so many snotty hair colorists/stylists who think they walk on water and their arrogance is beyond off-putting. I fired my last hair dresser because his attitude was just sooooo....OMG, SHUT UP ABOUT YOURSELF, DUDE, YOU ARE NOT THAT AMAZING!! Diane is unbelievably talented, but also, one of the most humble people youll ever meet. The salon itself is really beautiful, comfy and modern, without being pretentious or uncomfortable. The other stylists are very nice too, and its obvious they all get along and enjoy each other. This creates an atmosphere of positive energy that is a pleasure to be immersed in. I have visited way too many salons where the drama between the stylists is so thick, you can cut it with a knife. When Im getting my hair done, I dont want to be in the middle of a prima donna snark-fest! The wine is also awesome...they serve you up a nice big glass of GOOD chardonnay, not the cheap stuff. Theres also an abundance of coffee, green tea and fresh lemon water if thats your pleasure. Oh, and the prices are GREAT. Very reasonable compared to a lot of other salons Ive been to. I cant say enough good things about White Salon, and particularly DIANE LE. God, she is so amazing... Book an appointment today if you want to find a great salon you can go to for years and years and never leave. Getting my hair done is finally a JOY instead of a chore!

I went to WHITE Salon after one of my girlfriends recommended me to Brisa. She had gone to her one time and really enjoyed her experience. In all honesty, her hair looked gorgeous. So, naturally I was sold and called to schedule an appointment with Brisa to touch up my roots, my highlights and to cut my ends. I had asked Dustin if he could give me an estimate about how much I would be spending and he told me $215, which I was surprised by considering I was used to spending about $250 with my previous hairdresser. I showed up to my appointment and loved the location and the facility was trendy and fun. Good energy, Brisa was very sweet and she started coloring my hair. I went to check out and was told that my service was $340! HUGE difference from my estimated quote from Dustin at $215. Obviously in shock I asked questions and was told that next time it wouldnt be as expensive because it wouldnt be the full shabang. More like $135 for roots and a cut. Anyway, I drove home feeling confused and wrote an email that night asking to have a detailed breakdown of what $340 was covering. Two days went by and I called the salon and got Dustin on the phone. I had asked him if he received my email and if he could provide me with a break down. He told me he could cancel my upcoming appointment and I told him thats not what I wanted. Just a breakdown of what I paid for. He transfered me to the owner who explained it quite well. Satisified with his explanation and his customer service, I thanked him and kept my upcoming appointment. I showed up to my next appointment on Saturday, 12/21 at 8:50am for a 9:00am appointment and Dustin greeted me in an odd fasion. I said good morning and he said "We called you SEVERAL times yesterday to let you know your appointment was canceled!" Several times? UMMMM, that was incorrect. Someone from WHITE Salon called ONE TIME and did not even leave a message. I work fulltime! If you call and dont leave a message, to me it must not have been too important of a call. I was pretty upset with his attitude and how my time was treated. He said he would have the owner call me to "make it right." Two weeks later I still have not received a call. Needless to say, Brisa IS fantastic. She was curteous, thorough and I was pleased with the outcome. I just believe that the customer service and follow thru could be much better from management and the front desk coordinator. I have a $35 credit on my account. Its up for grabs at this point...

This is an OVER RATED OVER PRICED SALON THAT WILL HUSSLE YOU FOR YOUR MONEY!!! My experience with the salon. I went in at 12:30 pm and was scheduled with Amanda for a Balayage hair color. I told Amanda what color I wanted but basically let her decide where she wants to place the color on my hair. The entire time she was like, “OH well you can come back and we can add more pieces.” Needless to say the color was HORRIBLE and NOT the color that I wanted. She tried soooo hard to tell me it was pretty. But I basically looked the same as when I went into the salon. NO difference, just maybe a little brassier. PLUS SHE PUT VERY LTTLE PIECES OF COLOR ON MY HAIR. I told HER I didn’t like it and she was obviously upset it took her about 30 minutes to actually make it the color I had originally asked for. When I asked her why she didn’t give me this color to begin with, she said that she didn’t want to dry up my hair. WHO DOES THAT!!!???? she tried to sell me on the hair color SHE wanted. Not happening!!! I didn’t even leave the salon until almost 5pm! Then when I got charged the bill was $ 205.00. For what!!?? I paid but I will never go back!! SHE KEPT SAY OH YEAH YOU CAN COME BACK AND WE CAN ADD MORE PIECES. LOOK IM NOT PAYING 200.00 EVERYTIME SO YOU CAN ADD MORE PIECES OF COLOR TO MY HAIR. IT’S A STRATIGEC MOVE USED BY STYLIST TO GET YOU TO PAY MORE MONEY. HOW ABOUT COMPLETE MY HAIR THE FIRST TIME!! DON’T FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS!
