Smash Paw

Multiple ways to have a dog, piles of krout and a bar make this place unique. The only real turn off for me is they allow smoking inside where we are eating and the restrooms were super small. I think its rude to smoke around others when they eat. The food was good and hot. It didnt take along time to come out and they serve breakfast as well. I had a potato burrito and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. The egg looked like that funky egg loaf but over all it had good flavor. My dinner trip the cashier was a young girl on her phone and when we asked about different things she just pointed to descriptions on the wall or called someone else. Maybe she was new, maybe management feels like an employee who is not knowledgeable is the first thing a new customer should be greeted with but i didnt like it. She wasnt rude just put off by the finger pointing. The guy in the morning was on point. Fast friendly service is what i got when i ordered ahead. WILL GO AGAIN, WILL REFER OTHERS.

So disappointed- boss said oh this a great sandwich place with good salads- not just hotdogs (which I hate) The cashier had to take my order 3 times and kept getting it wrong - checked chef salad and a club sandwich - thats all I had Togo - she said $21.83 I said I have $21.53 - I didnt want to use my card I said- she still took my card - said wait why is this so much for one salad and one sandwich? She said heres you receipt- I said why is there 2 Teas? She said, you say that - I said no maam- she replied with yes you did- then asked for my card back - refunded then reswiped my card - I said why would you charge me again - she then ignore my comment and said your order will be on side - This salad ($9.00) is just iceberg and packaged cheese slices cut on this - loads of red onions- no dressing or utensils included - Yall can continue serving my warehouse guys - I will not be returning to this whole in the wall

Friendly service, large variety cooked to order menu. This place has a bar atmosphere to it. Large dining area, pool tables and games. Food was good. I got the cheese fries and chili cheese dog. Food was cooked to order and was hot and fresh. The hot dogs are not the greatest compared to James Coney and I could definitely make a greater Texas chili dog at home. Dont get me wrong they are good but not the best. The hot dog shop also offers many comfort food style items such as chicken fried steak, BBQ, burgers, nachos, breakfast, steak & eggs and ice cream, cookies and pie. This restaurant also has daily lunch and dinner combo specials. I rank this place a 4 because the flavor was nothing special but there are many things about this restaurant that make it worth the visit. Great business hours, large dining area, friendly service and large menu that comes out hot and fresh.

Used to work in this area and would go here about once a week. They have a massive menu just huge with endless options. Daily specials are always great too, good service for breakfast lunch or dinner! Theyre open bright and early and stay open late Into the Night. Ive been there so many times and still havent even tried the hot dogs which should tell you something about the size of their menu! A really great establishment.

Great place! Whether its for breakfast in the morning or a beer in the evening. They could server breakfast a little longer - was running late because of road closures and got there just 2 minutes before breakfast cut off - too bad the cook said no more breakfast. Still a five star place in my book - I love the neighborhood bar atmosphere.

Didnt get a chance to try the food, which is unfortunate, because the food looked good. I had to leave right away because the entire place reeks of cigarette smoke. Maybe someday when Im in the area, Ill get some food to go so I can give it a proper try. But as long as it smells that bad, I wont be dining in.

You can tell when you first walk in by the smell of the food that this is a great place. Be prepared to wait in line - it is very popular at lunchtime. There is a big menu, but I recommend the hot dogs or burgers. Do realize that this is a bar, so you better take up smoking, cause there aint no air.

I like that fact that I can enjoy enough time to sit back and chill on my lunch break. food comes hot and quick, people are friendly, and its close to my job which is a plus. I get tired of spending to much money on drive thru food and pay just as much or less and be super satisfied.

This is are go to place for lunch at work. Fast, friendly and courteous service. Love the new fancy Coke Machine. Not very many places you can get a Vanilla coke other than fast food joint. May need to try the place in the evening for a cold beer.

It is great for an unhealthy lunch or dinner!!! It was delicious!!! A little pricey though. Also, it smells like a smokey old pool hall inside. That is kind of what it is too. I get my food to go due to the overwhelming cigarette smell.

I drove by this establishment for two years before I realized that it was an operating business. Food was good. But $9 for two dogs is a bit pricey.

Definitely an older mom and pop establishment. Has a great dive feel to the place. Chicago dog was great!
