Found this place and decided to have our truck towed here based on other reviews back in December 2016. Glenn took care of us and had our transmission rebuilt and the truck returned the week of Christmas. He told us about the warranty and sent us on our way. After having issues with it we returned to find Mark who informed us they cleaned house at this location and the warranty Glenn had told us about was incorrect. He was extremely rude about everything. After seeing our original receipt with the warranty stated on it, he agreed to fix the truck and suggested we "not loose that paper". We called 2 days later to be told it wasnt acting up for them. We stopped by the next morning while running errands to find Mark asleep in his office and the same story about it not acting up. On day 4 we called to tell him we were coming to get it and would just bring it back when it was having the problems again to show his mechanic. As soon as I drove out of the parking lot it did it! Drove it for a bit and it happened again so we decided to take it over just to find out he had closed early! It continued to have problems so I drove it to the Spring location after my husband was assured by Larry that they would make it right. Told Larry exactly what was happening and what we had dealt with in Humble. He promised me he would personally see to it that the truck was repaired correctly. 5 days later I called and Larry told me he had thrown $600 at this thing and now it was having a different problem. He promised he was going to have his guys pull the transmission and he would personally go through it with a fine tooth comb. That night on our way to dinner we see our truck parked out front of the HUMBLE location! Furious that they had brought it back where the problem originated, we called Larry. He tells us his shop was so busy he didnt have a lift for it, so they towed it to Humble to have the transmission pulled and sent back to Spring to be fixed. All that extra cost on warranty work? Yeah right! Tried to get an update 3 days later with no answers. Tried again on day 4 and found out the transmission still had not been pulled. Drove to Humble so they couldnt pull the "Ill call you back" card anymore and Mark decided to lock up and leave early AGAIN, with us in the parking lot! Thankfully his new mechanic stuck around to apologize for him (which he didnt need to do) and to tell us what was really going on with our truck. He assured us he just needed a couple more days so he could guarantee we wouldnt need to bring it back. We agreed and left. Didnt hear from anyone until day 3 when I called Larry. He had no idea what the status was and kept telling me Mark hadnt returned his calls. 20 minutes later Mark calls my husband to say the truck is ready! We asked numerous times to speak to the owner and never got the returned call or even the same name twice. Mark tried to give me all kinds of garbage excuses when I picked the truck up, but everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie, not to mention his foul language. The new mechanic in Humble was the only decent person we dealt with after Glenn. The rest are deceitful and I will make sure no one I know goes here or the Spring location!

My experience with Express Transmission was HORRIBLE! I brought my car in for a transmission flush using a Groupon and it was the WORST decision in my life! First of all, when I brought it in they said they could not do the flush at all and they would have to keep it over the weekend. I was like okay I can let you do that. I was ASSURED by the owner Larry that if my car was running, when it came in, it would be on the lower end of repairs. Approx. $700-900. On Monday, I received a call from Larry stating that he would have to rebuild my entire transmission and it would cost me $3200! Of course, I told him that is not even what he told me when we discussed the inspection. So, I then asked him to put my transmission back the way it was when I DROVE it in and I will come pick it up. For the last two days, Larry has mysteriously been "SICK" and out of the office after he again ASSURED me my car would be back to the way it was when I drove it in on Saturday. Keep in mind that I have been renting a rental car since Saturday based on the belief that my car would be available at the latest on Tuesday. Now Wednesday (8/24/2016), I speak to assistant supervisor and he states that he WILL NOT put my transmission back together for me and I can come pick up my car and the transmission will be in the box! KEEP in MIND when I DROVE my car in on Saturday, my transmission was NOT in a box! He further offers to upsell MORE charges to put my transmission back together when we had NO contract in place for him to disassemble it in the FIRST PLACE! I am going to SUE EXPRESS TRANSMISSION and I WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND using them. The owner Larry even refuses to call me back even though my car is at HIS place of business if that is what you would call it! So if you want to drive your car in and have it TOWED later, EXPRESS TRANSMISSION is YOUR PLACE!

My car was taken in to this shop to simply place a manifold intake 3 or 4 days later my car still isnot fixed. Finally I got my car back still running hot and leaking water. When we removed the intake one of their mechanics had placed a piece of paper between the upper and lower intake where the heater hole should be. They put the wrong intake on and returned it to me as fixed. When I called about it I was told that the intake was cracked. They put it on anyway so if it had been cracked they obviously were more concerned about the money instead of my safety on the road. Mark informed me that there was no warranty on labor but Glenn an employee gave me a receipt stating there was. Mark said he would call me back. When he did Mark stated that he would just give me my money back. Well I still do not have my money back nor a working car. Very unprofessional staff and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend! Went to two different shops and received two different diagnostic. One shop tried to charge me $500 for a wheel bearing replacement service! The other charged me for a diagnostic and said it was my transmission. Finally got refered to express transmission. I received FREE diagnostic & test drive along with a much better price for the same wheel bearing service. Thank God is wasnt my transmission!! The manager, Byron, definitely took care of me and fixed my problem at a great price.
