I contacted humble door refinishing and was pleased with the phone process and pre-order emails and contacts. My disappointment came when the job was quickly and shoddily completed. The technician tried to upsell me. Then he didnt follow the steps outlined in the email sent by the company (no varnish, no cleaning, sanded for about one to two minutes finished in 20 minutes total). The door has drip marks and uneven color and feels sticky to the touch. I did not want to write a negative review without allowing the company an opportunity to respond. However, I have now sent two emails and allowed them over a week and they have not cared to address my complaints. Be careful before you hire this company as your quality will depend on their service person for your area!!

I do NOT recommend this company at this time. The final product was good, but only b/c I argued with them and refused the first attempt. It seemed like they took on too much work, and as a result I was the one suffering. There were numerous problems in having them refinish my front door. Late arrival, poor communication, extremely late delivery, and an unacceptable first attempt sum up the issues. After contacting them they did re-do my door, and the second attempt was very smooth and exactly what the first one should have been. Was the final result good- yes. If the second attempt was my only experience would I recommend them- yes. Unfortunately, this was not my case, and an entire day was wasted because of it.

They are very easy to work with. Will is very polite and worked on my time to set an appointment. I really like that they send out a calendar invite on Google once the appointment was set. More businesses need to communicate as effectively as this one does. When I got home, the door I entered was not the same weather-beaten, stripped monstrosity through which I left. It was absolutely beautiful. The wrought iron had been cleaned and repainted, the stain was very evenly-applied and matches perfectly, it looks like a brand new door and I cant think of one negative thing to say. I will definitely recommend Humble Door Refinishing to anyone who needs their services.

Im a repeat customer of Humble Door Refinishing. They did such a great job on my front door that I purchased antique all wood doors just to have them refinished for an office project. They turned out even better than I expected. Their pricing is very fair but the quality of the work makes you feel like you seriously underpaid. You can tell the pride they have in what they do and their customer service/communication is top notch. They have been in and out of my house 4 times in the last few months and very punctual. Cant wait to use them again!
