PrideStaff allows discrimination against blacks. They have "slick" job postings that basically say "Mexicans Only" but they use language wizardry to try and not make it so obvious. They say their "clients" want this. I called and spoke with Julia from the Hurst TX office (The office that had the discriminatory job posting ad - it was on their site) and she said their client wanted only Spanish speakers for a warehouse job doing basic labor. Now think about it. This is the DFW and 99% of the Spanish speakers are Hispanic. This basically means no blacks or whites wanted. Although honestly I have seen companies with a lot of white employees use this wording to suddenly hire low wage labor and dont want to bother with blacks and this is how they get around it. Companies are using the temp agencies to DISCRIMINATE. They hide behind the agencies to do their dirty work. And Texas has a lot of temporary staffing agencies like this. My cousin who is Hispanic just got hired at one and she told me companies call up and request Hispanics all the time. They dont request the most experienced. They just request Hispanics. And the temp agency obliges. Its a dirty world out here people.. UPDATE: Apparently according to the EEOC these types of job listings are CODED RACISM. The EEOC Filed Suit a few days ago against a company in Houston, TX named Lawler Foods for doing the exact same thing. For discriminating against NON HISPANICS. See Below: "According to the EEOCs suit, Lawler Foods has been discriminating in its hiring since at least 2007. The EEOCs suit alleges that African-American and non-Hispanic applicants have been told that they would not be hired because they were not Hispanic or could not speak Spanish. Some non-Hispanic applicants were treated rudely and waited to be interviewed to no avail, while Hispanic applicants were interviewed. Evidence also showed that non-Hispanic applicants generally had more relevant working experience and education than the Hispanic applicants Lawler hired. The lawsuit also alleges that Lawler Foods relied on word-of-mouth hiring and advertised a preference for Spanish-speaking applicants, practices that the EEOC alleges had a discriminatory impact on black and non-Hispanic applicants. The EEOCs administrative investigation culminated in findings of class-wide hiring discrimination based on statistical and anecdotal evidence." SO NON HISPANICS CAN HOLD THIS COMPANY ACCOUNTABLE FOR DISCRIMINATORY JOB POSTINGS.

I applied with Pride Staff back in 2009 after being with the company I worked for closed down. I have 3 years in aviation plus haz mat certifications. Over 10 years in warehouse experience with shipping and receiving. Pride Staff had positions for a aviation company in Arlington but they called me for a 2 week special stuffing fliers for Texas Motor Speedway! At a big $9.00 bucks an hour.... Big joke!!!! Im not a 17 year old kid looking for money to buy games or hit the mall to shop! I have car , insurance and a mortgage to pay ! Save yourself the trouble and dont bother going to this dump!!!!!!
