So this was our big gift to our family and wanted it to be perfect. All together we had a group of 9 going that included a granddaughter (6), daughters (11, 25, 27), son (12) and son-in-law (30), future son-in-law (31) and my wife and I. This was a once in a lifetime trip for our family to go on together so I needed help to make sure it was perfect and Laura truly helped make sure it was just that... perfect! Not only did she recommend the Aulani Disney Resort in Oahu (which was amazing!), she also helped me plan a daily itinerary so we wouldnt find ourselves trying to fly from one activity to the next without truly enjoying the island. Theres a reason the Interstate speed limits are 45 - 60 mph... they live at a different pace on the island, and thanks to Laura we were also able, for one week in paradise, live at a slower pace. Laura provided us with all kinds of activities that were "must see" but she went further and even helped us group them so we could make the most out of our adventures to different parts of the island. All of it was in a Word document for each day and was the perfect guide for our trip. Lauras knowledge of Oahu was amazing. We werent blindsided by anything because Laura told us exactly what we should expect which helped me feel confident that our plans for each day would be something wed never forget. She made sure to inform me about little things like the line at Pearl Harbor or the time of the drive to the Northshore. If she hadnt told me about the free tickets for Pearl Harbor and the process for that then I wouldnt have known and my family would have missed experiencing that. And if she wouldnt have told me about the drive time to the Northshore then we would have been late for our ziplining excursion. Ive already rambled on, but if youre going to make a trip to any of the Hawaiian islands, dont make it a stressful one. Let Laura help you. I cant imagine trying to plan our trip without her and it being as easy as it was. Im looking forward to an upcoming anniversary where I plan to ask Laura to help me make it just as special. Working with Laura Walker of Hawaiian Travel feels much less like dealing with a typical travel agent, and much more like working with a best friend (who also happens to be an expert on everything Hawaiian!) You will quickly get the impression that she has a vested interest in your experience, which takes on a “personal” quality. And unlike many travel agencies, Hawaiian Travel specializes in exactly what their name implies; Exquisite vacations to Hawaii! (If your dream-vacation is to Bangladesh…not so much) Laura is not just knowledgeable about Hawaii, she “knows” Hawaii, and has a wonderful working relationship with many of the people you will come in contact with along your travels. By far, the most refreshing aspect of working with Laura is her willingness to allow each traveler to “customize” their experience in fine detail (right down to the customized Hawaiian luggage tags!) Whether you prefer a vacation which is preplanned every step of the way (in order to maximize your time/experience) or whether you prefer “limited” preplanned events (allowing for more flexibility/leisure) during your stay – this choice is up to you. And though Laura will suggest and “guide you” through all available options, the plethora of activities are in no way pushed upon you. Everything about our trip was “spot on”, from the perfect centralized location on Waikiki Beach (with 50 restaurants and 100 retail stores within walking distance) to the romantic/remote “Big Island” cabin resort where we celebrated our wedding anniversary. In my humble opinion; if you wish to experience the true paradise of a Hawaiian Vacation, the most intelligent decision you can make is in choosing Hawaiian Travel (and Laura!) My husband and I chose Hawaii as our honeymoon destination. We started researching the islands and quickly found ourselves overwhelmed with so much information and options. We finally decided to use a travel agency (for the first time ever) and we are absolutely happy that we found Hawaiian Travel. I will begin by saying how easy the whole process was. We did not need to visit their office at all. With our busy schedules, Laura was extremely helpful in coordinating all communication through phone and email. She was very responsive and answered our questions in detail. More importantly, Laura really knows her stuff! She listened to our preferences and expectations and helped us plan every detail of our trip. There are so many little aspects about travel logistics that can be overlooked, and she provided so many tips that helped tremendously. After all flights, hotels and activities had been scheduled, she kept us updated with airline flight changes. She was very thorough in all the documentation that she provided. The day before departure, she checked-in on us to answer any last minute questions. Even during our trip, she was available to answer questions and assist with last-minute requests. She was courteous, friendly and professional every step of the way. Finally, her fees were extremely reasonable. I actually feel like we did not pay enough. We are extremely grateful and will definitely pick Hawaiian Travel again for any future trips to Hawaii. Thank you Laura!

This trip was definitely on of the best trips we have been on. Hawaiian Travel and Laura have been my go to Kahu (leader) for all of adventures to the Islands. This journey was no different. From the planning phase to end Laura had every detail planned thoroughly and professionally. I was apprehensive taking my son and grand-daughter to the Islands for 10 days. But, Laura made sure that all of our needs and interests were met. Her suggestions for entertainment, local restaurants, shopping, and activities that are not listed in the travel books, only added to a perfect vacation. The trip was high class the whole way. Our rental car was waiting for us when we landed, the hotels were of 5 Star quality, and every single detail for excursions were spot on. Her personal touch was visible throughout the whole trip. Her attention to detail and her knowledge of the area were perfection. I assure you when we return to the Islands, it will be Hawaiian Travel and Laura that will be our first and only call to make the arrangements.

From the first day, Laura was always available to answer our questions and help us plan a customized trip based on our budget, requests and wishes for our honeymoon experience. She also provided incredible suggestions for our trip, from restaurants to excursion activities, and always tried to find us the best deal. Just before we were about to leave for our honeymoon, I had a death in the family and Laura worked quickly and efficiently to switch our flights and hotel rooms so that we could still have a great honeymoon experience and be within our budget.
