I have never used a forum, such as this, to express any type of opinion, but something needed to be said about the "manager" at the Kerrville/Junction location. Yesterday I went to get a haircut at this place, (regrettably) and I was treated like garbage by their "manager" for absolutely no reason whatsoever, other than the notion that she is the "manager," and feels that reserves her the right to treat people with complete and unnecessary disrespect whenever she chooses to do so. Ive been going to this place now for a little over a year, and it took about the fifth person to finally get half a descent, regular taper. It ended up being this "person," Katherine, or Kat, as she refers to herself as, who I ended up requesting to cut my hair. I kept going there because its close by, and I am new to the area and not really sure where else to go for a descent haircut. Like I mentioned, she was the closest thing I could find that could produce a half descent haircut, and she still always required me to spell out how to deliver a simple taper. I have been nothing but cordial and respectful to her and every staff member I have ever encountered there. Her attitude has always been short, but I have always dealt with it just to get a haircut done. In the middle of the haircut she was noticeably agitated and irritated, for absolutely no reason at all. The entire time, all I did was sit there. With a distasteful tone, she asked how much I needed off the top. I very politely inquired if she was finished with the sides before issuing my response, and she immediately lashed at me verbally, rudely stating that she had not finished yet, and started to repeat what I had asked for, as if I had forgotten. At this point, I very calmly explained to her, in astonishment, that I was just inquiring because one side was obviously longer than the other. Afterwards, she was continually and unnecessarily rude. I understand people have bad days, but there was absolutely no excuse for her behavior. I was courteous and respectful to her, as I have always been. There was absolutely no rush. When I arrived, the place was empty, and only one other person arrived while I was there, and he was handled by someone else. It was a nice day outside (until having to deal with her.) I did not understand what her glitch was. Again, I understand people have their days, but she was obviously looking to express some unnecessary aggression for no apparent reason. If it was not for veterans, like myself, this "person" would not have the opportunity to "manage" a place where she could needlessly treat respectful people like scum. If a person does not have the patience to deal with people, then that person should not be placed in a managerial position. I have observed her treat her staff like garbage as well. Apparently, that is what it takes to rise to positions of authority. Well, she does not have authority over me. Thankfully, I found out about Supercuts nearby. Peace great clips, its gonna be great... great going someplace else.

I am a 74 year old man on 24X7 oxygen. I walked in to Great Clips today for a haircut and found two people wiaiting so I assumed that I would be called shortly. About 15 minutes later I noticed that three of the stylist had left their stations and dissappeared. I thought that odd since there were customers waiting and it was nearly 2:15 pm.. Forty-five minutes later Im still waiting, while three other customesrs who came in after me received haircare. When I asked, have you lost me, one of the stylist said no. She explained that they may have used the online appointments. Okay, so why wasnt I told when I checked in that there were all these people ahead of me? Why wasnt I informed that there was even an internet appointment? I will never go there again. Lousy customer service. A "clip joint" for sure.

Maybe I came on an off day but the salon was not clean. Hair was all over customer counter side where you check in, all over keyboard and desk where they check you in, and all over the carpeted area where you wait. If it was a busy day and I came in late maybe, but I came in at 8am. Lady who cut my sons hair was rude but gave him a decent cut so I tipped her well thinking it was just early. She nicked his ear and didnt say a word. I noticed the blood coming from it in parking lot but was just glad to get out of there due to how filthy it was. Not ever going back.

This was my first experience at this Great Clips location and I was thoroughly impressed with the service and quality of haircut that I received. Whitney who styled my hair did a great job and was very fun to talk to. The atmosphere at this Great Clips was amazing fun and enjoyable. Ive always gone to the pricey salons but was in a hurry and decided to go here and get a quick trim. No more pricey salon for this girl . . .why would I when my hair cut was perfection here. What a great place to get a haircut! Candice is the BEST!! She always does an outstanding job and always with such a great attitude. She makes the whole experience fun and enjoyable! They cant do a simple stacked Bob even with pictures. They scalped the back of my head. I will have to spend money on hair extensions just to cover the back of my head until it grows out enough to get it fixed by a real professional.
