Do not use this place. I brought my truck in to have the emergency brake adjusted. The truck would hold when facing down hill, but would not grab at all when facing up hill. So, they are looking at my truck, and about an hour later they have me come out to see where the rear wheel cylinder is leaking. Its leaking a little, not a lot. There is no dripping, just some wetness where the seals are. The guy claims that is the cause of the problem. Im not sure how, but then Im not a mechanic. So, I let them do it: $300 for each side. When he finishes up, I stop him as he is backing the truck out of the garage. Their garage is up an incline, so my truck was facing the direction that the emergency brake would not work in before. I have him apply the emergency brake to show me that it works, but it does nothing. The truck just rolls. He said he still needs to adjust it. Yeah, thats why he was pulling it out of the bay, right? So, he pulls it back in to adjust it, and I go back into the waiting room. About another hour goes by, then they call me out to the truck to show me where the special bolt that holds the emergency brake cable was twisted into when they tried to adjust the brake line. The guy says that part of the work order authorization form I signed excused Mineke of all liabilities from things that break on the customers vehicle. In short, I left there with an emergency brake cable that did not work at all and still had to pay for the wheel cylinders and that installation. I mean, if you are a complete car idiot, these guys might be better than you. Otherwise, find someone else.

I do not recommend using the Meineke in Longview. I have been taking my Kia there for oil changes, tire rotations. I started to have a burning smell when the outside air was being pulled in and so I asked them to look it over. I even offered to pay for it. So after their inspection they wanted to blame it on the new brakes I had installed- I guess because I didnt have the brakes installed by them. So I took it to Midas and asked them to check out the new brakes that they installed. They checked it out and said brakes were fine but pointed out several things that should have been noticed when during my Oil Inspections. What I liked about Midas is that they took me out to the vehicle and showed me the things that Meineke missed. One of which was that the breather tube that leads from the filter to the motor was not tighten which means my motor has been taking in dirty air for who knows how long. Midas did not charge me but they have gained a new customer. When I called to discuss what they found with the manager at Meineke of course all he would say is that they looked it over and didnt find anything and didnt really think there was anything that needed to be said. It really upsets because I have taken our company vehicles there also.

1 star only because I cant just not give a star. I took my car in and spend $1200.00 and was supposed to have all 4 pads and rotors replaced, 4 new tires, oil change and inspection. after them having it for 2 days I get it back and it hadnt been inspected, the oil hadnt been changed and the brakes dont seem to have been bled because I am having to push the peddle to the floor. I called Friday and asked why It hadnt been inspected and they told me the guy had left Thursday(while they had my car and didnt inspect it) and wouldnt be back until Monday and I would get a card for a free oil change. Then I called again and asked why my Oil change sticker hadnt been replaced and they found out no one changed my oil and again asked me to bring it back Monday. well here it is Monday and they have told me they do not have time to have someone come pick it up and bring it back to me and cant inspect it because it is raining, but yet the replaced the tires and all new brakes...WHY DO YOU EVEN NEED TO DRIVE IT? I will be getting my money back at least for the oil and inspection and WILL NEVER use them again and would NEVER refer someone there.

Stopped by at 9:30am this morning and made an appointment at 11am to get the brakes checked and repaired if needed. Brought vehicle back at the designated time and left it with them. I called to check 2.5 hrs later since I hadnt heard from them, was told they havent got to it yet and they close at 4. Hmmm...appointment??? I didnt hear from them once again so I showed up at closing time, they hadnt started on it. They said they would stay late with it but I didnt have a ride and who would want to wait around there for another couple hours on their day off and "hope" they get to it...not me. I decided to just take my vehicle and go because I didnt have a ride. To add insult to injury, the tech brings my vehicle out to me and says "Ive smelt better ones"... Really!!! Done a lot of business over last couple years, including some fleet vehicles but I can guarantee I wont bring any back nor will I refer any more people. Hate it because I sure need a reliable resource for vehicles but I guess Ill look elsewhere.

Been using them for years, had a oil change a week ago today and asked for a estimate for some tires. The gentleman gave me a quote, I went by to leave my car and he then told me it would be $85 dollars more because he didnt know where he got the quote he gave me. I will never use them again for the simple fact that he could have offered me 10% or something for the wrong quote. Its all bout business. I took time out of someone elses schedule to have them pick me up. Disappointed!!

Saturday afternoon, 3PM my exhaust pape separated. They took me in and welded it back together when almost nobody else was open. Didnt say I had to have a new one. Just charged for labor needed. Great service!
