I wish I could recommend B&M but I ended up with a different result than other reviewers here. I brought my car with an alignment issue. They said there was a rear suspension issue and the drivers side tie rods needed to be replaced. At 130000 miles it was not unreasonable to have to need that done. Not only was the repair done poorly it was done improperly. Within 15 miles of leaving, I noted the steering wheel was cocked to the side and then the rear brakes failed due to the caliper bolts coming loose. B&M had the vehicle towed (which was nice) to repair the brakes and delivered the car back. The steering wheel was still turned but the car was driving straight so I thought it was due to only having one sides tie rods replaced. I later took it in for a fluid change at another mechanic who recommended I replace the tie rods on the front drivers side. Since I had just paid B&M to have them replaced I was at first thinking I paid for repairs that had not been completed. The mechanic found that it had been replaced but had been installed improperly and my steering would have failed had I continued driving it- the tie rod had not been secured and was backing itself out. I returned to B&M to have the car realigned which was completed without additional charge but I am still out $560 as I had to pay to have the original repair redone. They said they let the technician go that had completed the work to my car and they did redo the alignment I paid for that was required a second time due to the poor repairs. The customer service was really quite good honestly but the workmanship I wouldnt wish on an enemy. As a result of their work I was out several days with no vehicle, had to replace the front brakes due to heat damage from when the rear brakes failed, had to replace brand new tires that failed (in traffic) due to poor steering component installation, and had to pay a different mechanic to re-install the tie rods that I had paid to have B&M replace. While their service in attempting to repair damage done to my vehicle is notable, I am still out hundreds of dollars as a result of having taken my vehicle there and the repairs that were done caused significant damage to my vehicle and created dangerous driving conditions. Dealing with failed tires, failed brakes, and failed steering in three separate occasions is not something I would wish on anyone. My rear suspension is noisier than ever and I will likely pay to have that work inspected by another mechanic so that I can have confidence in driving my vehicle safely.

The Edge
Finally, an auto shop where its all about the customer, ran the way that every business should be run. There arent many businesses that are honest and have the customer/clients best interest at heart. Its all about the money. We know this as consumers. However, that is NOT the case at all with B&M Auto Specialists in Mansfield. Bryan Davis, the owner, was excellent when it came to everything. I would give them a much higher rating if I could. Bryan stayed after closing for an hour just to explain in detail everything going on with my vehicle. Ive dealt with many shops in the DFW area regarding auto accidents working personal injury cases, and not one auto shop has compared to what I experience at B&M with Bryan. I will continue to use B&M for all of my familys vehicles and refer everyone I know to them. Its worth the drive, wherever you are coming from- and ask for Bryan, the manager, who is a man of his word. No lies, very professional, goes above and beyond- the list goes on and on. I couldnt be more impressed. THIS IS THE SHOP DEALERS NEED TO BE CONTRACTING WITH. This is where all of us who have any issue with our vehicles (as we all eventually will) need to go. Period. Also, JEEP specialist on site.

Searched for a Mansfield Auto Shop with good ratings, and found B&M. Needed to replace my cars serpentine belt. I always took my car to Jiffy Lube for oil changes, and saw they replace belts so I asked them to. They took over an hour working on the belt, only to tell me it was too difficult, and that they couldnt do it. Decided to find a legit Auto Shop, and took my car to B&M. They are exemplary! Over the phone, they quoted me 95.00. When I got there, they immediately took my car in. I was in the waiting room about 15 mins when the owner, Bryan Davis, told me the car was fixed. Bryan gave me a discount as well (think maybe because I was a first time customer). What a great Auto Shop, I give them my highest recommendation. These guys are legit, honest, professional, and quick! Will be taking my car for oil changes, etc, in the future.

Everyone at B&M Auto Specialists was so kind and patient with each phone call and when in person. I came to them for a second opinion on an electrical diagnostic and for a new timing belt for my used Honda Odyssey I had just bought. The other garage I went to told me just to fix one power window would cost more than $400! After B&M looked at it, it ended up being some fuses that they fixed for FREE which fixed ALL my power doors, locks AND windows. Bryan and Kevin were so great every time I spoke with them and were very thorough in taking the time to explain things to me and even in looking up quotes so I could find out if I got ripped off at other garage (which I did). They were also great about providing rides for me and even brought my van to me the one time. And FYI, my old Odyssey made it to Pennsylvania and back...thanks B&M!!! :)

Ive been driving for 40 years and have had many vehicles. All of these vehicles had to be repaired or serviced at some time or another as do all vehicles. I can honestly say, that of all the repair/service places I have taken my vehicles, Ive never encountered the level of expertise, reliability, customer service, pricing and over-all work ethic that I have found at B&M Auto Specialists. They pick up and deliver my car back to me, check with me by phone after the repairs are done to make sure Im happy, send me thank you notes in the mail and give me discount coupons for future service. Ive never even had a dealership take care of my vehicles that way. I can further guarantee that I trust them at their word and that is something that is rare today in any industry. Thank you B&M Auto Specialists for being there!

My car was making all kinds of weird noises and since it is a Cadillac, I knew those noises would probably be expensive. We didnt have a regular mechanic and it is almost impossible to get anything fixed at a dealership for under a $1000. So I looked up reviews and found B&M and I AM SO GLAD I DID! Not only did they get my car fixed quickly (and even shuttled me) they did so affordably. Yes, there are other repairs I need, but they laid them out and how much they will be so I can PLAN for them. They communicated with me regularly throughout the day as they were finding things. They kept me in the loop and gave me loads of options and explained things in a way I could understand. I am SO happy I found these guys!
