I called around to a couple places (including a Meineke less than a mile from my home). I was looking to have a new Roush axel-back exhaust put on my mustang, but I am very particular about having work done on my car. I found Excalibur online and the reviews were stellar. I spoke with Darren, who gave me a quote much lower than everyone else. I will admit that I had my reservations when I arrived, as it is a really small shop, not what I am accustomed to. Darren was polite and started working on my car immediately. He took the time to answer all my questions and didnt have an issue with just how anal-retentive I was about the exhausts needing to be symmetrical. He worked quickly, went the extra mile to exceed how I wanted everything to be done and honored his exact price quote. I could not be happier with the end result. If I ever need any exhaust work don in the future, I will be going back to Excalibur without hesitation.

Friendly guy, but does shoddy work. I had him replace a catalytic converter on my truck; got a check engine light afterwards. My mechanic said it was related to the converter and I should take it back. When I brought it back to Excalibur, he said he doesnt do engine diagnostics and couldnt help me. After another mechanic visit, I had to take it to a welder to redo the welds on the catalytic converter Excalibur installed, it was leaking on both sides of the part. "Worst welds Ive seen in probably 5 years," to quote the welder. Bottom Line: I spent $200 on this guys work, and another $500 to fix it. Avoid.

As the owner of Excalibur Muffler and Automotive, regarding the one star review, I was not able to find his record of visit so Im not sure when that was. Nevertheless, I always try to make sure all work is done well and would rather re-do a repair for free, if ever needed, rather than have someone dissatisfied with anything done here. Im not sure anyone could have paid 500 dollars, somewhere else, to repair 2 welds when the original cost for everything, parts included, was only 200. If anything that I do were to not be to the customers liking, I would do my best to make it right.

Excalibur exhaust is by far the best shop Ive been to. Great pricing, fast, and painless. I had to get a new catalytic converter, and decided to do a muffler delete as well.You can tell Darren knows what hes doing, and he will do whatever he possibly can to make your car sound/run better than it did before. The cuts were flawless, and the welds just the same. When he bent the piping, he made sure it would be exactly the same as if the mufflers were there. I would recommend Excalibur to anyone who asked where to get their exhaust work done.

FANTASTIC!!!! I have been working on my own vehicles for over 20 years, and I do not like other mechanics touching my vehicles. With that said, there are some jobs that I cannot do for lack of tools. When I need a specialized repair, I will contact Excalibur. I spent an hour in his shop, just talking, and Darren was incredible and very patient with my questions. He is honest and fair, and I am glad to finally meet another mechanic with integrity and honor. Thank you Darren for an awesome job!!!

Fast, efficient and fair pricing. My friend and I were thinking of taking on my 4 bad catalytic converters. They made my truck run real bad and were gonna be an epic fail come inspection. Our estimated cost was about a hundred dollars more than what Darrin at Excalibur did it for. My truck sounds and runs great. It took him only two hours. Inspection will not be an epic fail! Darrin solved the problem by building a custom system with only two cats instead of the 4 that I had on my truck.

I just needed a small portion of my exhaust replaced and another shop told me that I would have to replace the whole thing. I took it to Darren and he did exactly what I needed to get going and not a bit more. Price was very reasonable and I didnt have to pay for more than I needed and he did exactly what I wanted. I would absolutely recommend to anyone with exhaust repairs.

The work was done pefectly and at an amazing price! I brought him a junk muffler and he was able to get me a set of highflow mufflers and stainless steel turndowns installed to the factory hangers. Cant say enough great things about him or his work. I will be coming back for all my future needs!

Darren is awesome. Darren was more then up to the challenge fitting my new exhaust to my headers. Using only mandrel bent pipe i supplied. Excaliber muffler is superb, I recommend him to anyone wanting or needing exhaust work without breaking the bank..
